I sat up in my bed the next day and thought about what was going to go down today. I haven't gotten any of the weird Alice visions lately, but I don't need to see the future because I already know what was going to happen. I got ready and went downstairs to make myself a bowl of cereal. I remembered I have to meet up with Oliva for the talk, which is secretly her way of saying 'I need to make you believe Edward is something supernatural'. Unfortunately, I still had to be there, and it was already seven forty-five.

I grabbed a taco from the fridge, (Charlie ordered last night), before heating it up in the microwave and grabbing the keys off the kitchen table. I almost spilled my drink everywhere, while in a rush to get into the big piece of metal. Although multitasking has always been one of my strong suits. I ended up getting to the school in under ten minutes. Once I parked she came and knocked on my passenger window, so I unlocked the door.

Olivia got in the truck and looked at me with slight irritation. "I thought we were going to talk before school. This is very important!" I looked at her with a bored expression. "I know that. I didn't do it on purpose, look at me!" I exclaimed. I wasn't lying; my hair was in a messy bun, and I was wearing a sweater and sweatpants, with a half a taco in my left hand. "Slept in?" She said with a little laugh.

I nodded before looking over her figure, seeing that she looked tired as well. "Yeah. What happened to you?" She shook her head in irritation, and exhaustion. "No, I got woken up at two in the morning, and I thought I saw someone in my room." She replied as if she had a hard time believing it herself. I took at my phone and glanced at the time only to see that we still had a few minutes beforehand. I nodded at her, as if to tell her to continue. She smiled before turning sideways in her seat before starting to explain. "Before it happened, I saw Edward across the parking lot standing by his car with his family."

I nodded in acknowledgement as I took in all of Edwards mistakes. "When the car came hurdling at me, he was by my side in a second. Theirs no way he could have been at my side in that amount of time." She gossiped in disbelief. "Maybe you saw wrong. Trauma can cause your memory to confuse things." I suggested hoping that she would just take the bait. "Okay, let's say your right. How did he stop the van with his hand? How did he stop a huge van from hitting me with his bare strength?"

"Like I said before, trauma changes things in your mind about how you experienced it." I explained with a smile, but she wasn't excepting anything I said. "Your just don't believe me!" She yelled accusingly. "I never said I didn't believe you. I'm just saying that trauma can be a very powerful thing, especially when it comes to remembering the initial trauma." I explained, my doctor coming out.

"Whatever." She mumbled in response. I hopped out of the truck taking the final bites of my taco. She followed me and I commented about our earlier conversation. "Who would be stupid enough to break into the deputy's house? It was probably nothing, anyway." I found out that she was the new deputy's daughter from Charlie. I glanced at Edward, to see that he was already looking in my direction, and with a smirk I whispered. We were then stopped by Mike Newton, as he wanted to talk to Olivia.

Edwards POV

We got into the parking lot, I saw Ava look at me before whispering, "Creepy stalker. Do you just go to every ladies house to stalk them too?" I just ignored her as she wouldn't understand. Then Olivia and Ava talking to the kid, Mike I think his name was. They were talking about something, so I decided to listen in. He was standing there nervously as different thoughts ran through his mind. I shouldn't have started to ask her. What if she says no?

"Olivia, would you like to go to prom with me?" He asks nervously. Olivia looked so confused as if she didn't understand his question. "I am not going to prom sorry." She responded slowly. Mike was upset, and now looking down sad. "Why not? It will be fun." He says trying to persuade her to go with him. She came up with a quick answer and avoided more awkwardness. "I actually have to go to Jacksonville." Jacksonville? Why was she going there? Did something happen?
