Chapter 8~ love like poison

~Natsu's pov~

"HOW CAN I RELAX!?!? ARE WE LOOKING AT THE SAME PERSON HERE!!?! LOOK AT HER GRAMPS!! SHES NOT OKAY!!! SHES DYING AND WERE JUST SITTING BACK LETTING IT HAPPEN!!! I CANT ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN, ESPECIALLY NO- not to her." I scream trying not to let my feelings show but they did. Yui... I turned and ran out the door of the infirmary, smashing a table and chair on my way out the door. When I got out the door I ran. I ran and ran letting my legs take me wherever they wanted, not stopping until I got to the cliff me and Yui used to go to when we were upset

~flash back~
Natsu was 13 years old and he was angry!
He was smashing and throwing things everywhere. No matter what he did he wasn't calming down so they called in 'doctor Yui'
"Yui! Natsu is having a tantrum and we can't calm him down, can you try to calm him please?" Happy asks in a sweet voice. Little Yui hops off the chair and walks down to where natsu was.
"Natsu? Are you feeling alright?" Cana asks
"GO AWAY CANA!" Natsu shouts.
"Natsu please don't yell." Lisanna tries to reason with him.
"SHUT UP LISANA NOBODY ASKED FOR YOUR OPINION!!"
"Natsu, please try to calm down." Erza says.
"JUST PISS OFF!!!" Yui pauses for a moment as she gets a tiny flashback of her father. She shakes her head then continues to walk towards the angry boy.
"Hey Natsu? I have this little place I like to go when I'm sad or angry, would you like me to show it to you?" Yui says voice soft and sweet.
"... Okay" he replies
"HOW COME HE LISTENS TO HER AND NOBODY ELSE!!?!??!" The whole guild screams.
"I can get you some ice cream after if you want?" She says. He just 'hmphs' as a response.
"Don't be so mad nastu, it's not like you!" She says and hugs his arm. He just shrugs and continues to walk "When I get mad or upset I come up here, I like to stand up and say out loud what is worrying me and all of my problems. It helps me a lot." she says smiling.
"Hmph" he retorts angrily.
"I'll go first if you want me too?" She says.  He just mods. She takes a deep breath in and then screams.
"MY BEST FRIENDS IS ANGRY!!! I MISS HIM BEING HIS USUAL HAPPY SELF!" She breaths deeply then steps back. Natsu is taken aback a little from this, he pauses with his mouth hangs open.
"You try" she says smiling kindly at her best friend.
"LOST A FIGHT WITH GRAY!!!! I DONT HAVE ANY MONEY TO BUY ANY FOOD AND HAPPY JUST ATE ALL OF THE REST OF THE FOOD!!! I WANT TO FIND IGNEEL. I WANT YUI TO BE HAPPY" Natsu screams out. Yui's eyes widen, she smiles and hugs him from his behind.
"thank you Natsu" she says as he blushes slightly. She pulls away and he grabs her hands
"I feel heaps better!!! Thanks Yui!! You're the best!"
"You're only saying that because you want ice cream" she sweat drops
"DID NOT!!"
"I told you it makes you feel better! Let's go get some ice cream?" "YES!!!!" They both run down the road.

~end of flashback~

"This can't be happening, she was meant to wake up in 2 days and we would all be happy again!!! SO HOW DID SHE SUDDENLY GO FROM BEING HEALTHY TO BEING ON HER DEATH BED?!?!?" I screamed at the top of my lungs
"YUI COME BACK TO ME!!!!!!" I scream. Then drop on the floor crying.
After a while I guess I fell asleep.

~dream~
Yui and I came up this massive rocky hill. It was so brown, plain and boring.
"Well this is dull" I say. Little Yui looks like she is about 8 or 9 here. I don't think she heard me? Can she hear me?
"Yui?" I ask. No reply, oh well.
"This is so plain and boring! Let's make it pretty!!"
She uses her magic and beautiful trees and flowers are grown all around. The hill goes all full of life, It's gorgeous. Wait does that mean Yui gave this thing life? She really is kind I think to myself the I wake up.

~reality~
I woke up to the sun beaming down on my face. I wiped my tear stained face and returned back to Yui's house. When I to inside I heard happy crying as I walked up to him
"it's okay buddy" I lift him up to my chest and he cried even harder.
"I-I-is Yui g-going to d-die?" His voice shaking as tears stream from his eyes. His question echoed in my head as my eyes welled up with tears
"I-I don't..." I stopped talking and wiped my eyes.
"I miss her" I say as the tears fall.
"C-Can we p-please go check on her a-again?" Happy asks with a sad tone. "Yeah" I had a quick shower got dressed and grabbed an apple for breakfast, we then left for the guild.
