Chapter 22~ Gone

There gone.

~The first 4 days were filled of laughter and joy.
The next 3 days were filled of boredom.
The next 2 days were filled of lonely.
The next day was full of sadness.~

It was a normal day at the fairy tail guild. Romeo was playing with Yui, kinana was serving drinks and everyone else was doing what they do I guess. There was nothing out of the ordinary going on. That was until they got the news. The news that would destroy there guild for good. Every member that had gone to Tenrou Island had died.
There gone.
Everyone cried.
People sobbed.
They wailed.
Nobody was happy.
There gone.
We all cried.

That went on for two years. It had been 2 whole years since they dissapeared. Natsu.....
I had stayed behind with the rest of the guild, protecting them. I had finally regained all my magic power and was fully healthy. I wanted Natsu to be back so I could beat his little s-class butt although that wasn't going to happen. He's gone.
People had come taking money from us, they basically robbed us and I wasn't strong enough to do anything about it, I was to weak. We need them.
"I need to go get a bit of air okay Romeo?" I ask
"Mm okay" he replies
I decide to walk down the street, do some window shopping.
As I walked the streets I heard people saying how weak and pathetic fairy tail was. I now understand how Laxus felt. I run out of the shop and back to the guild. Something clicked in my mind. I need to prove that we aren't weak or pathetic at all!! I need to help!

I push open the guild doors and walk straight to romeo.
"Can I talk to you out side for a second please?" I ask.

"I'm leaving tomorrow okay?" I say to him sadly. He turns to me with tears in his eyes
"What! Oh no please Yui! You can't!" He pleads
"I'm going to come back soon I just have to deal with some things for now alright? Please don't be upset." I say rubbing his head. He wraps himself around me and cries
"No don't leave me like he did" he says sobbing.
"Romeo... I need to do this, I love you so much but I have to do this okay." I say sadly hugging Romeo back. "Please stay safe" he says sadly
"I don't want to loos you too." He says crying. This is breaking my heart even more. He's all I have left and I want to leave, he is crying his eyes out and I'm being selfish.
"Let's go home." Romeo says sadly "okay" I say and turn to walk home.

When I get home I go into the kitchen and start to make a big meal, seeing as it will be the last proper meal I will get to eat for a while. I bring out a large bowl of noodles and rice, some meat and salad. "Thanks for the food" Romeo says and starts eating. "Thanks for the food" I say back and start eating. After we finish I clean up the dishes and walkout into the living room.
"Want some dessert?" I ask, almost like I was guilty of something, he nods "always" I laugh. I pull on some simple flat shoes and pull out some money
"What do you want to get?" I asks smiling down at him.
"Ice cream!" He childishly says.
"Race you there!" I say and we run off to the ice cream stand. He's a almost a teenager and he still acts so young but I know he isn't the same as he used to be, he hasn't smiled once since everyone was reported missing. We run parallel all the way to the shop jolting it a stop as we reach the cart. "One double scoop of chocolate please!" Romeo says, the man hands over the icecream then looks at me. "Can I please had a double scoop of (favourite flavour) please?" I ask and hand over the money. He hand me the icecream and I thank him.
"Let's go home okay Romeo?" I say "okay!" Romeo says. We walk silently all the way back home, eating the icecream. I open the front door and lock it behind myself. Romeo walked into the spare bedroom where he had been staying for the past two years. He practically fell asleep instantly. I walk in and kissed him on the forehead and tucked him into bed.
"I'll see you soon Romeo."

I walked into my room and pull out my magic bag. It's a little bag the is only the size of a small purse but is magical so it can fit anything inside but only I can see what is inside. I fill it with a blanket, the needed clothing, my phone, purse/money holder with 5 thousand joule and a bottle of water. I put a jumper on the end of my bed and a pair of shoes next to it. I go to take a short shower and change into one of Natsu's over sized shirts he left at my house then crawl into bed. God I'm going to miss this bed. This house. All the memories.
"I'm sorry Romeo, I'm a failure." I say as a tear slides down my cheek. I slowly drift into a deep slumber.

The next day I wake up and walk into the kitchen
"Mmm waffles Wednesday" I say quietly. I slowly pull out the waffles and start to cook them. Romeo stumbles out of his room and looks at me.
"You really are leaving aren't you?" He asks sadly. I turn my head to look at him.
"I-I- I'm so sorry r-Romeo, I'm such a failure." I say dropping to my knees. He instantly runs over to my side and hugs me
"You're not a failure, you never will be. Please don't be sad, it's not like you" he says. I look up to him and smile, pulling myself together.
"Waffle Wednesday?" He asks. "Waffle Wednesday" I reply.

~at the guild~
I'm wearing my usual top, skirt and converse but today I'm wearing a hoodie as well. I say goodbye to everyone
"I will be back okay, don't ever loose hope. I love you all" I say, everyone replies and wishes me luck. As I leave I feel someone pull me arm. I instantly remember when Natsu did that. My eyes water and I turn around. Romeo is standing there holding a bracelet.
"Here, Natsu wanted to give this to you before he left but never got the chance so I'm giving it to you on his behalf." Romeo says with tears running down his face. Tears start to run down my face aswell. I put out my hand and Romeo puts the bracelet on it. I look at the little charm bracelet in awe. It's beautiful.
I look back at the guild hall and see everyone waving goodbye with tears in their eyes or running down their faces. I wave goodbye and leave. Here we go I guess.
