Chapter 5~ I hate hospitals

~Natsu's pov~
The whole train ride home was quiet, nobody spoke a single word. Jeez, the first time I've seen Yui in 3 and and half years and she almost dies trying to save me. Wendy gave me troya but after that no one else spoke so there was 3 hours of silence. I had Yui spitting on my lap, her head on my chest, listening to my heart beat.

~flashback~
Yui took Natsu on his very first mission, it was go and retrieve some fruit from and orchid, the farmer was afraid of the monster that was roaming through the field so he asked someone else to do it, Natsu wanted Yui to take him so she did. When they were coming home from the mission they had to camp out because it was dark, Natsu had forgotten his sleeping bag so Yui offered him to take hers, he took the sleeping bag and Yui slept on the hard, cold floor. Natsu picked her up and put her in the sleeping bag with him, her head rested on his chest.
"Your heart beat is so relaxing." She mumbled contently.
~end of flash back~

~Narrators pov~
Natsu clenches his fists at this flashback, for the rest of the train rides he remembers all the little things him and Yui did, things that he did for her, the way she could always make him smile and all the things that she did that made him truly happy.

He started to tear up at the thought of these little things she did to him, when he sees her he gets butterflies and when they touch it's like a spark of electricity. He missed her when she left.

~Before she came back Yui was out on a mission, that mission lasted for 3 and a half years, she took that mission because it payed over 1,000,000 joule, it was in the beautiful country side and it would take a while. She wanted to go, take a break from the constant fights at fairy tail, don't get me wrong, she loved it no matter if they were fighting, she just wanted to see what it is like without the fights and all the people. It was nice for about a fortnight then it got lonely and boring, she missed everyone, all the people, all the noise, all the fights and she especially missed a certain flame headed idiot.
Yes, she missed the one, the only Natsu Dragneel. She practised her magic every chance she had, she got way stronger and still got the mission done, on the way back she stopped at a library and bought a whole heap of new exciting books for Levy, who had previously asked her to 'bring back some souvenirs' which Yui could only imagine would be books. She was so excited to be coming home after 3 long years!

Natsu on the other hand had a total tantrum the day after she left, that was the day he found out she had gone, he was smashing everything and yelling, calling her name out and whining all day, he ended up sulking in the corner for a whole week. After that he pulled himself together and everything was normal. He still missed her though.

~Natsu's pov~
The master told me to take her to the porlyusica, since her wounds were so bad. When I arrived, I politely opened the door and begged her to treat Yui. She was startled at first finding out it was Yui because Yui was one of the only people Porlyusica ACTUALLY liked!! Like DAYUM!!! That doesn't happen often!!

~flashback~
Porlyusica was sitting in the dinning room of Yui's house. Kind little Yui had invited her over for dinner as a thank you and apology from everyone in fairy tail. Yui had taken the time to make Porlyusica feel at home and nicely decorated the place, added beautiful scents and cleaned everything. She then baked a beautiful cake, cookies and a variety of other delicious treats, a beautifully cooked dinner and an extra fancy dessert.
For the first time in a long long time Porlyusica smiled a genuine smile.

~End of flashback~
~Natsu's pov~
I saw Porlyusica shake her head then told me to put her down on her bed. I knew I would get beaten by a broom if I stayed so I thanked her and left. I left so I could tell gramps.
"She would treat her wounds, give her a potion and I can come back tomorrow about lunch time and bring her back here." I said sadly. I felt his hand on my head.
"She will be okay, she's a tough cookie don't worry yourself."
"Thank you gramps" I say and leave.

Now I understand why she never liked fights... I had no idea... I'm sorry Yui please come back to me.

~Gray's pov~
Man, I feel like shit, look at him. He's like a lost dog, he has been waiting for over three years to confess to her, when she finally comes back she nearly dies trying to help him.
What makes it worse was I always used to tease her about the smallest things, I'm such an ass, her whole life before fairy tail was getting bullied and treated like dirt.

~Levy's pov~
"Come on Cana, cheer up, she'll be alright, she always is." I say trying to cheer up Cana, honestly I think I'm trying convince myself as well. Her past was so bad too. She always seems happy and energetic, in reality her past was so bad mine shines next to hers. How does she keep a smile on her face all this time.

~Gajeel's pov~
'He finally found him mate and she goes and half kicks the bucket, that's harsh' I think to myself.

~Lucy's pov~
Everybody's mood dropped instantly when Yui passed out, everyone got sad. I've never seen Natsu or Cana cry that much! I don't there was a single person in the entire guild who wasn't crying! Even Gray was, how often does that happen?

~Juvia's pov~
Gray-Sama is sad because Yui-chan is hurt, he truly does care about his comrades. Her past was terrible, Juvia's past looks like heaven compared to that, Yui....

The rest of the day went on quietly, everybody was worried and sad, Cana didn't drink, Gray didn't strip, Natsu didn't want to fight, elfman want ranting about being a man, wakaba wasn't smoking, levy and Lucy weren't reading, even Mira was sad. It's totally different. Everyone went home later that day, sad and gloomy, walking through the rain.

~With happy and Natsu, Happy's pov~
I flew onto of Natsu's head as he walked I kept my wings open to provide some slight shelter from the rain like what I used to do with Yui when we walked home in the rain. She would always tell me to save my magic. I miss her... I knew we weren't going to our home that night. Natsu was walking in the direction of Yui's house. Poor Natsu, I feel sorry for him. He has liked Yui ever since the day he walked through the door of fairy tail for the very first time, she was his mate and he can't be with her yet. Once we reached the front door I got off Natsu's head. He bent over and got the front door key from under the pot plant, the jasmine plant had raindrop lets coating its leaves. Natsu opens the door
"Yui I'm home, I used the front door this time, not the window. Are yo-u pr-oud?" Natsu says, voice full of sadness and cracking at the end
I started tearing up at this, Natsu must be completely shattered.

I followed him around the house seeing where he was going. Yui's house was massive, it was a big mansion created for a rich family which had 5 kids but they moved and since Yui was such a good friend of the children, they gave Yui the house.

~Natsu's pov~
When I opened the door the first thing I smelled was Yui, she always smelled like cinnamon. "Yui I'm home. I used the front door, not the window. Are yo-u pr-oud?" My voice breaks at the end, dammit natsu keep it together! I walked into her bedroom and laid down on the bed, looking at the roof. Yui is the type of persons who takes photos of all the things that make her happy, otherwise known as, pretty things, her friends and pictures of her sisters and brothers although Miyako has the most pictures up there from her family, after she takes the photos she puts them on her bedroom wall, so she can look at them forever. I never knew who the other kids were, now I do. It's so sad.
I stare up at the roof, not knowing what to do. Happy walks in with a bar of chocolate.
"Natsu? I found your favourite chocolate in her lolly stash, do you want it." He says sadly with tears in his eyes. When girls are sad and in pain they eat chocolate so I don't see why not try. I pick him up gently an hug him, he's hurting to, we all are. I let him cry into my shoulder as I pet his head. After he calmed down I took the chocolate and ate it, it was really good.
"Thank you happy" I say, he half smiles for a second.
"Come on, we should get some sleep, we have to got take her to the infirmary tomorrow" and with this we went to sleep in Yui's cloud like king sized bed.
