Chapter 7~ Sleep

~Narrators Pov~
Natsu layer there, peacefully asleep on the chair next to Yui. Happy was curled up on the end of the infirmary bed, sleeping peacefully. The moon was high in the sky when the sleeping Natsu pulled himself out of the chair and into the bed with Yui. He curled up around her unconsciously, a smile forming on his face.

~Early the next morning~
It was early the next morning when Mirajane walked in. The second she saw them half cuddling she almost fainted with excitement. She slowly creeps up to the side of the bed, picks up Yui's lacrima of the bedside table.

~Mira's pov~
'This is the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life!!! I have to take a photo!!' I open the camera app and take a picture, awwwwwww look at the little cuties!
I walk back out to go find Cana and Levy, waiting at the door.
"You guys have to see this" I say quietly fangirling.
"try not to make too much noise okay?"
"Mhmm"
"okay" they reply.

They both instantly smile and giggle, Levy is quietly fangirling with me. SO Adorable!! We all leave and let them have there moment.

~Natsu's pov~
I woke up to happy pulling on my arm.
"Natsu wake up!!" He yells in my ear. I roll over onto something soft and squishy pushing into my face.
"Five more minutes" I mumble.
I then hear happy gasp then see him smirk
"Natsu, open your eyes.' He replied. I squeeze the soft thing under my hand then slowly open my eyes.
What happened next, well I am glad she was asleep. I had my face and hand directly placed on top of Yui's... Well.... Those things. I feel myself blush and by the heat I feel in my cheeks, it would put the sun to shame. This is not good!
"ARGHH!!!" I scream and roll of the bed, running out of the room, down the hall and out the guilds front door. I slammed the door shut then leaned against it, panting heavily before sliding down to the floor.

~Lucy's pov~
"What the hell was that!?!" I ask in confusion.
"I think it was Natsu" Gray sweat drops
"I'll go check on him" I say
I walk over to the door and opened it to see Natsu on the door frame with a nosebleed and blushing like there's no tomorrow!
"What happened to you??" I ask
"B-b-b-b" he stutters
"B?" I say confused
"B-b-b-b-o"
"Bo? Bob? Master bob? MASTER BOB?!?!?!?!?!" I scream
Natsu shakes his head, clears his throat and starts to stutter again.
"bb-b-bo-bboboboboboboobobo-" he was cut of by his nose exploding in yet another nosebleed, his eyes had swirls in them and he was still blushing. What the heck happened!?
Happy latter flew in and explained the whole thing to everyone in the guild. My eye twitched and I got a dark aura around me. All the girls walked over to him and started to kick, hit and slap him calling him a pervert.
We all walked away and left him laying there beaten and bruised however Cana and Erza were the last ones to leave. Cana turns around and kicks him in the 'you-know-where'.
All of the guys put there hands down over there 'That' in a protective way and turn away feeling sympathetic for the dragon slayer. Erza congratulates Cana and they leave.

~time skip~
~narrators pov~

Natsu sat on the chair next to Yui's bed holding an ice pack looking at her with sad eyes.
"I wish she would wake up earlier" he says to Mira in a sad tone.
"I know Natsu, I feel the same way. We all do" she replies. She starts to unravel some of the bandages on her head. Natsu leaves the room, like every time Mira re-bandages her or starts to do things with her wound. After she takes the bandages of her fully healed head she starts on the stomach so she can restitch her wound.

~Natsu's pov~
"We should go get some food for Yui's house happy, we have kinda eaten everything" I say sheepishly to happy.
"Okay, only if we can get fish!!" He says cheerfully
"Alright" I say laughing.
We set of to the shops to get some food.

~Mira's pov~
'Her stab wound keeps getting worse and worse! If she doesn't get better soon I'll have to take her to porlyusicas. I have to make it sound and look as if she is getting better around everyone but the master, I don't want them to be any sadder then they already are' I think to myself. As I continue to think the master walks in "Mira, how is she doing?" He asks. I unravel the bandages and show him "take a look for yourself, the poison is spreading all up her stomach, she is still not getting any magic power so her wounds aren't healing and they are getting infected. She won't be waking up on schedule at all! I don't know how to break it to everyone, she might never wake up agai-" I was cut of by the master
"Mira, don't worry. Porlyusica will help her and she will be okay, she is a tough girl, she can handle anything, it will be alright so don't worry yourself alright?" He says. A simple 'okay' is the only word I can muster the courage to say.
"How did she get the poison injected into her anyway?" Asks the master pulling the bandages back around her. "The sword she was struck with was forged with dark, lost magic a long long time ago. When the victim is hit it slowly drains them of the magic power and injects a poisonous venom into the main blood system. The wound itself can only be healed by magic, sadly the only magic that can heal her is her own, and that is being sucked out of her as we speak. The sword was forged from death magic so it is used to kill anyone it touches." I say in a shaky voice. The very second I finished saying my sentence I hear something dropping. I turn to see Natsu standing in the doorway with a serious look in his eyes and a dropped bag of groceries, happy on the ground behind him.
"Y-you mean she-?" He stops mid sentence and runs to the side of the bed beside us.
"S-she has to wake up! She has to!!" He yells, the master and I both look down sadly.
"Yui.." Happy says, barely above a whisper as he climbs onto the end of the bed and cries, not making a sound. After about 30 seconds of silence Natsu's soft, sad voice quietly and sadly fills the room.
"Can I see the wound please?" His voice shaking and cracking as he speaks, tears forming in his eyes. "Natsu... Alright" I say, I pull the sheet down and unravel the bandages again.
His eyes drop down to the pulsing purple and black veins of poison running through her, then down to her infected, pus covered wound. The fresh stitches in her stomach and back were being dug into her stomach. The scratches and bruises that were visible looked like they could last all of eternity, her chest would rise and fall as she breathed but her broken ribs wouldn't move, causing her so much pain. Chunks of her had been cut out and she was constantly bleeding from multiple places and cuts. Natsu's eyes widened at the sight of his mate's disfigured body.
'She was only trying to protect me, this was all my fault' he thinks to himself. His hands start shaking as he tries to think of how much pain she is in right now, no words came from him. Gray walks into the room seconds later without realising what was going on.
"Has anybody see- oh my god!" He says, walking towards the bed. He looks up to Natsu's shaking figure and then back down to Yui. Happy raced out of the room crying, he flys straight into Erza.
"Hap-" she stops mis sentence
"what's wrong"
"Yui" was the only word he says before he begins to sob, then fly out of the guild and all the way to Yui's house.

~Erza's pov~
I sat on my chair talking with Lucy when happy comes flying straight towards me. I angrily stand up and yell
"hap- what's wrong" he was crying. "Yui" he then starts to cry even harder then flys away.
"Wonder what's happened with Yui?" Lucy says.
"Let's find out" I say.
We walk into the infirmary and see Natsu shaking, Gray looking sad, Mira and the master looking at the floor and Yui on the bed with her bandages unraveled. I hear Lucy gasp then see her run to the bed end. I then walked over cautiously seeing a beat and battered, bruises and broken Yui. Oh my god. Did all this happen because of one man!? How strong was he?! None of us knew because she wouldn't let us fight him, but by the way she looks right now I'm guessing he was pretty strong.

~Lucy's pov~
"Oh my god, how did this...?!" Erza says
"Y-Yui..." I stutter out.
'I don't know how she survived this, but her dad, he's going to pay!!!'

Natsu suddenly lets out a growl, turning to the door and walking towards it then turning back around like he doesn't know what to do. "Natsu, she's going to be alright. Don't worry okay. Just relax" The master says reassuringly
"HOW CAN I RELAX!?!? ARE WE LOOKING AT THE SAME PERSON HERE!!?! LOOK AT HER GRAMPS SHES NOT OKAY!!! SHES DYING AND WERE JUST SITTING BACK LETTING IT HAPPEN!!! I CANT ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN, ESPECIALLY NO- not to her." His voice cracking at the end.
