Chapter 12~ the return

~Yui's pov~ *when she had the poison sucked out of her*

I look down at myself, seeing the poison running up and down my body. It hurts so much, so so much.
I feel numb until I feel a stabbing pain in my stomach right where the hole is, causing my body to curl up. I fall to the ground screaming, shooting my eyes open. I can't stop screaming. It hurts so much, so so much. I see my vision going black. It's over... The end. Then suddenly I see a face, clear as day. I would recognise that smile anywhere.
It's Natsu.
He's smiling down at me. Everything come back to colour and the pain goes away.
Natsu.
I feel happiness flowing through me. I warm light engulfs me and I fall into a deep slumber.

~time skip~

"Ai-chan, time for your medicine" I hear a cheerful voice call out. 'Ai-chan? Is she talking about me??' I think to myself.
"Wait, who is that?" I say sadly looking down.
"She doesn't know me but she is helping me? Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you." I say to the unknown person.

~Natsu's pov~
"Awww Wendy is so cute!!" Cana beams with joy. I just laugh and nod my head.
"Don't you want to know where Yui was those past three months?" I say suddenly.
"Yeah kinda but I know she will tell us when she wakes up." Cana says reassuringly.
"Don't beat yourself up about it okay? She will be alright." Cana says and walks away.

The rest of the day was spent by team Natsu talking about missions and jobs they had done previously again, Natsu watching Yui like a hawk in the infirmary chair, Cana drinking, and adoring Wendy.

~timeskip- 2 days~

Natsu stayed on his chair for two days straight, he watched and watched protectively. Finally giving into the tiredness after two days, he climbed into bed with Yui and drifted off to sleep.

~Yui's Pov~
"I want to get out of here!! I want to meet the new guild members!! I want to talk to Cana and all my friends! I want to see everyone happy again!! I miss everybody so much, please let me get put of this hell hole!!" I scream, tears welling in my eyes. Suddenly there is a blinding light. It's multicoloured and it fills the room with its brightness. It's all I can see, then everything vanishes and its all white again. 'Am I going insane?' I question myself. A wave of pain explodes in my body, hurting and twisting every piece of me. I fall over not making a sound, letting the pain wave through me. 'Surely this is the end' I think to myself. I shut my eyes and feel every bit of me dissapearing.

All I see is black. I feel warm. Where am I? I slowly open my eyes and see a blurry room. I slowly lift up my arm and run my eyes. I'm in the guild hall! And why is it so hot?! I look across and see Natsu curled into me. Thank god he's alright! I slowly lean in and kiss him on the cheek to see if he would wake up, he didn't. I sit up slowly and carefully, making sure not to wake him and slip out of bed to make sure I can walk without falling because of my wounds. I grab onto the table as support and slowly make my way out to the bar. I look down and see that I'm wearing my blue pjs with bandages all over me. I eventually make it to the bar without falling or making any sounds of pain, I sit down and lean over the bar table.
"Is this real or am I still dreaming?" I question my existence.
"Am I home?" I whisper as a tear rolls down my cheek, I smile. After about five minutes of resting I get up and walk around to the kitchen, grabbing a bowl and spoon as I pass the cupboard. I get out some cereal and milk, filling the bowl and putting them away.
"Food!! I haven't eaten in days I'm starving!!" I whisper with excitement.  Set the bowl down in the bar and get myself a glass of cold water. I sit down again and sigh with exhaustion.
"I've been asleep for over two week and I'm still tired, that's kinda sad." I say laughing.
"Time to eat baby!" I whisper yell, digging in to the food straight away. "It's about 6 in the morning so Mira should show up soon I guess" I say while I continue to eat. Just as I say that the guild doors open. I hear a gasp so I slowly turn around and see Mira standing there staring at me with complete shock.
"I'm back Mira, thank you for looking after me." I say smiling. She runs over to me as fast as she can, practically jumping on top of me, hugging me for dear life.
"Yui!! It's really you!" She says in shock.
"Mira can't breath." I say giggling. She asked about how I feel and if I was okay almost every 2 seconds, every time I would answer
"I'm fine mira"
"is Natsu awake yet?" She asks in curiosity.
"No but do you want to see his reaction? Come on!" I say as she helps me run off to the infirmary. She lays me down on the bed and backs up, sneakily grabbing my lacrima and recording the whole thing. I lean in and kiss Natsu's forehead then pull back quickly, smiling at him. His eyes slowly open then when he sees me the shoot open.
"YUI YOURE ALRIGHT!!!" He screams as he jumps on me, hugging me and refusing to let go. I just giggle. "You know it!" I say laughing.
"I missed you so much!! Don't ever do that to me again!!" He yells hugging me even tighter.
"I'm so sorry" he says quietly
"this is all my fault, if I didn't get taken you wouldn't of had to do this. I'm so sorry" he says looking down sadly.
"No it's not, it was my fathers fault. Don't blame yourself Natsu you didn't do anything." I say with a smile. He just shakes his head.
"It was my fault. You got badly hurt because of me. If I did-" I cut him of by kissing him on the lips, immediately shutting him up. He sits there shocked for a second stairing at me. I pulled away after a second because Mira was fangirling all over the place. I look up at Natsu with a smile
"I would do it again in a heartbeat. I wanted to save you Natsu, nothing was your fault. Don't beat yourself up about it okay?" I say. He just sits there in shock. Then smiles his signature big toothy grin and nods.
We lay there talking about random things, his arm under my head like a pillow. I look up to see Mira holding my lacrima, sneakily recording the whole thing. After about half an hour of talking and chatting I started to feel sleepy and slowly drift of to sleep in Natsu's arms.

~Natsu's pov~
Oh my god she woke up!!! I can't believe it!! It's all my fault, I thought she's going to hate me but she doesn't. She kissed me!! I don't believe it. I have myself to pinch myself to see if I'm in a dream. She finally woke up. I get to see her beautiful smile again, I'm so happy. This is by far the best way to wake up. Ever.
Plus she just fell asleep in my arms!!

~Mira's pov~
"Hey Natsu, I'm going to take Yui back to her place and get her into some new clothes okay? Don't tell anyone she's awake alright? I want to see their reactions" I say smiling while picking up Yui and walking her home.

~time skip, narrators pov~

The whole guild was sitting down waiting patiently for the day Yui wakes up, little did they know she already was awake. She was already out and about.
Everyone sat watching and talking to each other, drinking and eating. The time as about 11:00-ish when Mira walked in through the guild doors.

~flashback~
"Stay out there for about 10 after I walk in, come in after that okay? Oh everybody is going to be so excited!" Mira beams to Yui who is currently perched up a tree incase some other member of the guild comes past.
"Got it" Yui giggles.

~current time 11:42 narrators pov~
"Should I go in now? I think it has been longer then 10 minutes so I should be good." Yui whispers to herself.
She is wearing her usual black skirt, cute top and black heeled boots.
"Let's do this!" She whisper yells to herself slowly walking towards the guild doors.

~Yui's pov~
My heart is racing, I have butterflies in my stomach and I can't think straight. Why am I freaking out about seeing everyone again?
"Let's do this!" I whisper to myself slowly walking up to the guild doors, raising my shaking hand to push the door, I suddenly stop 1 cm away from the door thinking of all of my friends-no, my family.

'Laxus... If it weren't for him I wouldn't be here now
Erza and Cana are like my sisters. I love them all so much, and Gray is like my brother. We used to do everything with each other. He always argues with Natsu though. It's really funny.
Natsu is so sweet, he can always put me in a better mood, he cheers up everyone.
The master is like the best, nicest, most amazing master ever!! I can't wait to see everyone again.' I think as I nod my head and push the doors wide open and stepping in.

~canas pov~
I was sitting down talking to Lucy when suddenly the guild doors are opened. The light filling the guild, temporarily blinding me and every one else. The shadow of a person is the only thing we can see. I hear the sound of heeled shoes clicking agains the hard wooden floors then stopping "I'm back guys" I hear the person say. 'That sounds like Yui..... Oh my god!!' The light is gone and there stands Yui, a wide smile plastered on her face as she stares straight at us all. I stand up running as fast as I can, along with most of the fairy tail members, running straight at her and tackling her into a big-ass bear hug. People are crying, some are laughing and some are smiling.

~Yui's pov~
"I'm back guys" I say loudly. Everyone looks at me then gasps. All I see is a wave of people running at me then I get pushed into a hug by Cana then Gray, laxus, Mira, romeo and many, many others. Half the guild is up here!! Dang I feel special.
"I missed you guys so much" I say laughing with tears in my eyes.
After about 5 minutes of everyone freaking out, I sat down and everyone was talking to me. I answered questions, told stories and hugged so many people and met heaps of new members.

So. Many. New. Friends!!!

Master makarov stands up and yells "let's celebrate Yui's healthy return!!" Everyone was drinking and partying into the night up until the early hours of the morning. It was the happiest day I've had in years.
