The reason why I didn't want to go here because I literally complained everything to the shop owner about what had happened few hours ago and it seems like he hated Joshua for what he did.

I'm sorry but I couldn't shut my mouth if my brain ain't functioning well.

"Y/n-ya, kwenchana?" Joshua asked,  staring at me in concern.
"N-nae???" I blinked, with my mouth opened.
"Is there anything that's bothering you?"

"Technically, yes. You-"
"Y/n?! Omo! Why are you still here?!" The shop owner walked towards me and patted my arm.
"A..ahjussi!" I laughed awkwardly while staring at Joshua, signalling him to leave. But he didn't get my signal.

"Don't tell me that your husband kicked you out!! Aish that son of a donkey! You know, if I were you! I would complained all of this, to my parents then maybe get a divorce!" He fumed and Joshua raised a brow at the ahjussi.

"You know this man?" Joshua asked while pointing at the ahjussi. I nodded my head without making eye contact with him. The ahjussi turned behind and asked me,
"Is this the guy?"

"Yes, but-"
"Ah, jinja! Yah, you're such a terrible husband! How could you treat your wife like that?! She was just trying to clear the fucking table to eat with you and you literally yelled at her as if she murdered a person! I could just hit you with this wok if I had the nerves to!"

Joshua stared at him for a while before he gave me his 'what-the-fuck-is-wrong-with-this-man?' expression.
"What if she fall sick in the middle of the night without no one to take care of her?! How would her parents feel about that, huh?! Do you even know what being a husband is?!"

"Ahjussi...I'm fine now. You don't have to-." I patted his shoulder trying calm him down.
"No you're not! Look at you?! You're in a mess because of what your 'husband' did to you! You should tell your parents about this. What's your mother's phone number? Give it to me." He gestured his hand to give him my mother's number.

"K-kwenchana..you don't need to do that." I was a little flustered because I didn't know what I'm supposed to do.
"Wae?"
"Cause I can do it tomorrow? Besides, my phone's dead."
"You better do it! This good looking alien right here, doesn't deserve a kind and beautiful angle like you!"

After that ahjussi walked back to his kitchen, I avoided looking at Joshua.
"I can't believe you complained about me to that scary ahjussi." He chuckled while flipping the menu.

"I was alone, okay? I needed someone to talk to. Besides, I accidentally said it without me realising." I scoffed while glaring at him.
"I'm sorry." Joshua held my cold hands but I quickly pulled away.

"Hurry up and order something. I'm tired."

Steaming bowls of doenjang jjigae filled the room with the salty scent of bean paste. The ahjussi gave me an extra bowl even though I already said I didn't want to.

"Nonsense, dear. You're always hungry." The ahjussi shuffled back inside.
"Want some?" Joshua poured the jjigae in the bowl.
"No thanks." I fold my arms.

"Yah, eating those soondaes ain't enough. You'll starve." He moved the rice towards me and spooned some of the meat into the bowl.
"Here." He said while placing the chopsticks on top of the bowl.
