SALLY
I watched his hair falling to the ground and smiled at him. I was still shocked but happy, that he wanted me to join him to get ready. He had known Milly longer than he had known me, but still he wanted me to help him. I watched the hairdresser put in some colour in his hair before leaving us. It was weird to see his hair being pulled out of his face, and I could almost not see that that actually was Frank. “Hey, you.. Where did Frank go?” I joked with a smile. He laughed at me and handed me one of the magazines before he drowned in one of them himself. He read one of those alternative music magazines and I could see how caught up in it he was. I didn’t even look at the one I got. I took out my phone and went to twitter instead. Twitter had been my life for so long, but now I hadn’t been on it lately. I started slowly with some ‘small-talk-tweets’ before I drowned totally in all my deep tweets. “What do you think?” Frank said and poked me in the side. I looked up and noticed that I had been tweeting for half an hour and the hairdresser already made his last step and finished. “Awesome!” I said and gave him a thumb up.
“Here” I said and pointed at a store he seemed to like. He went in without a word and I watched him walk around with out even looking at anything. “Frank, you have an hour before your date, sweetie. You need to find some clothes now.” I said. He looked at me with his cute, light blue puppy eyes and I laughed. “C’mon!” I said and pulled him after me to the other side of the store, where I thought he might find something he liked.
Two cups of coffee stood on the table in front of us and we went through the receipts from the whole day. The bus, the hairdresser, the clothes and the coffee. “Shit” I said. “I know” he replied as we both looked at each other with a weird face. The hairdresser was so expensive that I couldn’t even think how much clothes we could’ve got for the same prize. “Mr. Ralph?” I asked. He nodded and smiled weakly. I knew the feeling. Playing on poor mr. Ralph’s money. He had told us plenty of times that things like hairdressers and doctors were stuff we didn’t have to pay ourselves, but still I couldn’t do anything about the bad feeling I got when I lived on other people’s money. “Your hair is awesome though, so it wasn’t a waste of money!” I smiled. His eyes sparkled to me and he put on a little smile. “Well, I should go now, sweetie.. Have fun on your date! You’ll do it just fine!” I smiled again and finished my coffee. “I don’t know, I don’t want to do this because..” He started but my phone vibrating on the table cut him off. “Sorry, my boyfriend’s calling. Have a nice date, Frank! See you home!” I said and turned out of the café and answered my phone.
Milly, Rose and Olivia came to the bus stop when I got of the bus. I wondered where they were going but I kept talking in the phone and only smiled to them. I noticed that they stared walk the same way back and all of them were staring at me. “Zack.. Talk to you later okay? I got company” I said and hang up. Six eyes were pointed at me. “What a nice hello” I got out as cold as possible and put on the hood of my jacket to hide my blushing. “Would you teach me to draw like that?” Olivia asked and pointed at my shirt inside of the open jacket. I looked at the three girls walking beside me and then stared at Olivia for some seconds. “Sure” I said with a little asking voice. Why would she want me to teach her, and when she actually pointed at my shirt design I couldn’t understand what she meant. It was just weird, I mean.. It wasn’t bad, just weird.
My head was hurting and Frank’s eyes and face when I left him was spinning around in my head. I didn’t even know why, but something with that face was just not Frank’s normal face. “Milly?” I asked and moved my hands away from my face. “Have you noticed Frank being weird lately?” I asked again. She shook her head and raised and eyebrow to me. “Never mind then” I said and started draw to get away from the thoughts. “Wow, again, that’s amazing!” Olivia said and sat down beside me. “Really?” I asked and looked at the girl. She nodded and smiled. “Well, then it’s yours..” I said and handed her the drawing. Her eyes become bigger and she smiled from ear to ear. “You’ve got a fan” Rose said as I got into the kitchen for something to drink. I looked asking at her. “Olivia is like your biggest fan, if you haven’t noticed” she laughed and pointed at her younger sister sitting on the couch staring at my drawing with wide-open eyes. I laughed and got out a bottle of coke. “Then she’s not hard to buy a Christmas present!” I joked and took a sip of my coke. I sat down with the table and Rose sat down next to me. “You’re friends with All Time Low?” she suddenly asked and smiled. “Yeah why?” I asked. “Do you know them?” I added. “Yeah, kind of. Great guys though!” she said with a grin. “Well, I got to know them through my ex, not actually know them anymore..” She continued. She got me interested. Maybe she was awesome anyway. At first I thought she was boring and too normal, pretty, but too normal.. Now she actually got me caught up in what she was saying. “I was dating Travis time ago. From We The Kings” she said and took a sip of her coke. We The Kings? I think I know that band. “I met All Time Low when I was with Travis on a club, super nice people. Kind of funny when they’re drunk too” she laughed. “You’re not dating anymore?” I asked after a while with silence. “No, but no regretting” she said and continued her smile. Her smile was amazing. It was just something you had to be caught in, just as her amazing voice, she could be a really nice singer. I wonder why I didn’t notice Rose before. I mean, she was actually a really interesting person.
As I finished my coke, the door opened and Frank’s head appeared in the kitchen. “Hey, sweethearts” he said and gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek before he went over to Rose and gave her a hug too. As I stood up he went to me and kissed my cheek again. “Frank, you okay?” I asked. Just as I asked I smelled it. He was totally drunk. “Yeah I’m just fine!” he said and went to the stairs almost falling. As he went upstairs I heard him say something like; “I just drowned my mood in alcohol, just normal.”
