Surprise Surprise!!!!! :D
POV: Jaden Davis.
"I broke her freaking guitar. Her guitar. Her life. What in the actual fuck is wrong with me? Her guitar!"
"I have only one thing to say," Shane said.
"What?" I asked.
"You're an asshole."
I narrowed my eyes at him, "Would you just leave me here wanting to kick myself, or do you honestly want to motivate me to do something more serious?"
"I'd choose the latter, of course."
"You're the worst best friend anyone culd ever have asked for."
"The truth hurts," he shrugged.
I wanted to slap him across the face more than anything, but I knew I agreed with him. I was an asshole, and I freaking deserved what I was feeling. I mean, I really hate not talking to Aubrey, but it's necessary if I want to stay intact.
"You know," Shane started. "Your reason to not talk to Aubrey is stupider than yourself, and that's saying something."
I winced at her name, "Can you not say her name?"
Shane glared at me, and then did the most immatre thing any seventeen year old could ever do in a situation as serious as this. He stuck his tongue out and said, "Aubrey Aubrey Aubrey Aubrey Aubrey Aubrey Aubrey Aub-"
"Shane, shut up."
"-rey Aubrey Aubrey.."
"Shane.."
"Aubrey Aubrey AUBREY AUBREY.."
"SHANE SHUT THE FUCK UP!"
"AUBREY AUBREY AUBREY!"
"What the hell do you want?!"
Then he drew in an exasperated breath, "I don't know what I want but I know what you want and you want her. And by her I mean AUBREY!"
I huffed, You really are the worst best friend. You can go step on a lego."
"How about I shower you with legos, you bastard?"
"It doesn't hurt unless you step on them, you imbecile."
"I will press each one onto your body, you retard."
"Oh, yeah, sure you will."
"Bite me, Jaden Davis."
"Okay. I asked Madison out."
"WHAT?!"
I liked playying around with him.
"And she said yes."
"SHE WHAT?!"
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Why do you care, anyway? If I really had asked her out, why would that have been your problem? You should be happy that a girl I liked said yes had I asked her out."
"I would've done everything in my power to break the two of you up if she had said yes."
"That's exactly what I'm saying. Why?"
"Because, a) I don't like Madison b) You don't like Madison the way you say you do and because of that you c) won't be happy if you dated her because d) nothing can get you out of what you've gotten yourself into. Not Madison, not ignoring Aubrey, and not insulting me."
"I didn't realize I offended you."
"You didn't. I was just running out of examples. But listen to me, you arrogant retard. You won't be happy, and nor will anyone else. Plus, I'm pretty sure Madison likes you as just a friend."
