The day was finally here! The day their souls would unite to become one... forever.

Lan Zhan, as usual, woke up first, he'd never felt this excited in his life. Staring and tracing his love's facial features he stole a few quick kisses from the sleeping man before getting up. He travelled to the bath, sinking into the warm water he prepared before getting in.

Lan Zhan's hands had never shaken in excitement before... well... only once and it was when he first made love to Wei Ying, although that was mostly nerves. Today already felt like the best day of his life and Wei Ying hadn't even woken up yet.

He heard a faint groan, Wei Ying had woken up. Smiling, he left the tub and filled it with fresh warm water before dressing himself. Walking in he saw his fiance pouting, not ready to wake up yet. Lan Zhan's lips twisted into a smile as he picked him up, he placed him in the tub, flinching at the moan Wei Ying released when he felt the warm water on his aching bones and bruised hips.

Perhaps I should've let him rest last night. Lan Zhan thought, however, Wei Ying snuggling into his chest distracted him and happily, he washed him as he woke up. When Wei was awake enough to process things he smiled like a fool, relishing in this feeling.

The two eventually got dressed, they wore their normal robes since their wedding wasn't for a few hours. Wei Ying smiled his bunny-like smile and wrapped his arms around Lan Zhan's neck, jumping up and down in excitement.

"Lan Zhan! Lan Zhan! Lan Zhan!" He yelled, and Lan Zhan had never looked more infatuated with him.

"Wei Ying!" He exclaimed playfully, earning a giggle. Wei Ying continued to bounce on his feet.

"Come on let's go!" He pulled Lan Zhan along, the two jogging to the hall they were holding the ceremony in. Inside the hall was already Jiang Cheng, Nie Huaisang, and Lan Xichen... and the juniors?

Nonetheless, Wei Ying smiled as did Lan Zhan, his usual small heart-warming smile. Running in, Lan Xichen smiled at his brother's excitement, as did Jiang Cheng.

Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes to hide the happiness, "Your love for each other is suffocating us." He joked, Wei Ying chuckled, nothing could bring him down today.

Wei Ying was still bouncing on his feet, "Then choke!" He yelled, Jiang Cheng gasped, tutting as he began to chase him. Wei Ying screamed fairly loudly, laughing as he was chased around.

Lan Zhan's eyes followed him, smiling when Wei Ying crashed into his chest for protection. He wrapped his arms around his Wei while Jiang Cheng and he continued to bicker, Wei Ying stuck out his tongue.

Lan Xichen shook his head, the couple had the biggest aura of happiness he'd ever seen. It was most certainly contagious. Around them, disciples of the Lan Clan were making the place luxurious, perfect for them when Grandmaster Qiren walked in.

Wei Ying and Lan Zhan refused to let go of each other today for the sake of the twin jades uncle. Today was their day, they weren't considering anyone else. If they wanted to hug the entire day they would!

Qiren smiled, "Wangji... I've never seen you so happy." He stroked his beard. Lan Zhan bowed his head, holding Wei Ying in a tight grip to stop him from bouncing on his feet for a second.

Lan Zhan nodded, Wei Ying pouted before wiggling in his grip and bouncing on his feet again. Qiren chuckled, "Wei Wuxian, I'm glad you make Wangji happy." He nodded, walking away so he could supervise the decorations even though that was Lan Xichen's job.

Wei Ying looked around, smiling when Sizhui walked up to him, "Master Wei, I am so happy for you." He smiled, Jingyi then walked up and wrapped an arm around Sizhui's shoulder.
