A Journey [Being discontinued/rewritten]

Chapter 3

Ex POV-

I'm being shown around by my brother but I can't focus on a thing he's saying. It's not just the thing with Grian but in general, I don't actually listen to him. I just take in my surroundings as I fly with my eltrya that he gave me. When I first put it on I barely could fly and like any brother would do he made fun of me for it.

"Are you even listing?" X asks me.

"No," I say back not wanting to put any effort into lying.

"And here I thought you changed"

I was deeply offended by this because how could he think that I would change enough to listen to him rant on and on and on. 

"Anyways I was thinking that I could introduce you to Grian"

The sound of his name made me snap back to reality. We seemed to be in a place that they called the shopping district. The buildings were so unique and different from each other.

"Yeah that would be nice" I finally say after a bit.

I follow him as he weaves in and out of the buildings around the district. As we fly over the cliff and over the ocean up head I see a base. (Insert base description here) In my opinion, the base looked very grand. The base I could only assume is Grian's because it has his name(not literally)and style written all over it.

We land in front of the front door. When I peer into the base I can see shulker boxes and chests everywhere.

"Grian" X calls from the door.

"Down here X" Grian calls back.

I look to see where the voice had come from and I see Grian head first in a chest trying to get something out. He turns around and makes eye contact with me. His expression says one thing but his eyes something different. I follow X down till where right in front of Grian.

X's the first one to speak "Well I came to introduce my brother Ex"

"Well I'm Grian it's nice to meet you Ex," Grain says holding out his hand for me to shake.

"It's nice to meet you to Grian," I say as I take his offer upon shaking his hand.

There was a slight bit of awkward silence before X spoke up. "We are training with our powers later today if you want to join us Ex," he says turning towards me "And Grian I know you're a human but if you want you can come to watch us."

This baffled me Grian didn't tell them he's a watcher which is understandable but he didn't even tell them that he's a demon.

I was just about to answer before Grian spoke first "I would love to come and watch you guys and Ex you should join them it will be good practice."

I only nod to this still thinking about what's happening. We say our goodbyes to Grian and I head out with X. He leads me to a place where I can start to set up my base and gather materials. I guess that I'm going to train today and I still need to figure out a time to talk to Grian about you know Stuff.
