~~~The party was decent, for Richie. Although there was constantly drunk teenagers bumping into him or drunkly asking to fuck, he was doing okay. Eddie on the other hand, he wasn't.
"Hey Eds," Richie greeted as he joined Eddie on the empty sofa, music blasting too loud that Eddie didn't even hear Richie. "Eddiiii Spaghettiiiii?"
"Oh, hey," Eddie smiled as he turned to face Richie. He could barely concentrate because of the amount of drunk teens surrounding them, obviously the music was too.
"Wanna head outside? The music is way too loud."
"Yeah, sure."
The two boys made their way past the crowded rooms and finally reached the backyard. There was still groups of people but not as much, the music wasn't a problem anymore.
"So," Richie spoke as the two of them leaned their bodies against a fence, both pairs of eyes glaring down the teens surrounding them. "Not enjoying the party?"
"Nope, i'm not surprised though," Eddie shrugged.
"parties are supposed to be fun though."
"Not for me."
There was silence, well not silence. The atmosphere was far opposite from silence. Richie stood awkwardly against the fence, slowly turning to face Eddie. He looked down at the small boy and admired his hair. It looked soft, not like it wasn't always soft.
"Uh i- hows Myra?" He wasn't quite sure what to say so he just stumbled up at his words, not surprised that he brought up Myra.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, why aren't you with her? You were alone on the sofa."
"I don't know," Eddie shrugged.
Richie nodded awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck in the process. "Why don't you go and try dance with her? I'm sure she'll want to."
Eddie looked up at Richie immediately, glaring him down as if it was some sort of joke. "Dance? With me? No one would want to dance with me," he scoffed.
"I'm sure there's someone who would."
"Doubt that, but i guess i can ask her to hang with her for the rest of the party?" Richie just nodded in response, no words leaving his mouth. He watched as the smaller boy shot him an awkward smile before walking into the house, he followed after in hope to find any of the other losers.
Eddie however spent a couple minutes searching around the house. He did bump into a few taller people in the process but he finally spotted Myra in the kitchen. She was having talk with one of the jocks, he was very popular. So he awkwardly walked over and shyly tapped on the girls shoulder from behind, trying to ignore the few eyes on him.
"Eddie," she smiled as she turned around and met eyes with him.
"Hey," was all he replied with, of course a smile still on his face. Although the smile faded as he noticed a couple jocks come up from behind the girl.
