Richie was now sat peacefully reading this notebook straight after he rushed back from the food place. Some tears did fill his eyes on the way back from his encounter with Eddie but he made sure he made himself an omelet when he got back to distract himself. It didn't work well, because now he was still sitting in his bed with the urge to call Eddie and apologise.

The thoughts of how selfish he sounded still lingered in his head. He knew he shouldn't of said all that, Eddie was right about him not having control of who he dates. But he doesn't get it. Myra doesn't deserve him. He just doesn't know yet.

After a long time of just listening to music through his walkman while reading through his notebook, Richie decided to give Eddie a call.

"Oh, hi mum," Richie greeted as he got down the stairs and noticed his mother in the kitchen. "When did you go get back?"

"Not long ago dear, did you get something to eat?"

"I decided to make myself an omelet," Richie responded.

"Ah right," she nodded and sent a smile at Richie. "Save the money in case you need it to buy food another time."

"Okay," was all Richie said as he picked up his home phone and began to dial Eddie's home number. He knew it off by heard, just like Stan's but he didn't quite know the others numbers off by heart just yet.

The phone rang for a few seconds before he heard a beep and the sound of Eddie's sweet voice.

"Hello?"

"Edssss, hello."

"What do you want Richie?"

Uh- i wanted to apologise, i guess?"

"That doesn't really sound convincing, but i respect it because what you said earlier was out of line."

"I was just-"

"Listen, don't call me and try to tell me the same things that you said earlier. I heard you, i know you think she doesn't deserve me. But it's my decision, not yours."

"Right. Sorry."

"Listen, i'm not really in the mood right now to talk to anyone. Especially not you."

"Oh? But i really wanted to-"

Richie's words stopped as he heard Sonia shout in the background of Eddie's line. She sounded loud and intimidating, Eddie surely couldn't handle that.

"Eds?"

"I gotta go, see you."

"Wait, what-"

The sound of the phone ended cut him off once again, he was left staring with his eyes furrowed at the phone.

"Richie dear," his mother called. "Is everything okay?"

Richie sighed and looked to her. "Yeah, i guess."

"Okay Rich," she smiled. "Oh and i was thinking we should have a movie night, just us two. I know i've not been at home a lot and i'm sorry."
