Bailey walked up behind Justin as Clay walked away, anxiously answering his phone. Her thumb was hooked under the strap of her bag, eyes wandering after Clay with furrowed brows. 

'Still getting those calls?' She asked.

'He said it's Ani,' Justin shook his head as he watched after his adoptive brother.

'You don't answer a call to your girlfriend like that.'

'I know... You talk to him yet?'

'No. But, I will. I'll pick you guys up tonight.'

He looked to her then, 'Why can't I pick you up?'

'I'm not arriving at a school dance in a Prius. My car's cooler.'

'Alright. But, I'll drive.'

'Can you drive stick?'

'Yes.'

She cocked a brow at him, causing him to sigh.

'How hard could it be?' He asked with a shrug.

'Alright. You crash my car, I'll have to hurt you. And I don't want to hurt that pretty face,' She patted his cheek as she leant closer.

'Oh, really?'

'It's just what's gotta happen.'

He squeezed her hips, making her jerk to the side with a squeal as he laughed. She tried not to laugh as he tickled her sides, thrashing about in his grip until he kissed her sweet. She stopped moving, smiling into the kiss before she pulled back.

'I love you,' He murmured.

'I love you, too,' She replied; 'But, my threat still stands.'

She patted his chest, turning away with a victorious smile as she started down the hall. Justin stood for a second before he chased after her, throwing his arm over her shoulder.

'Do you have Monty's phone?' Clay marched up to her.

'Excuse me?' Bailey turned away from her locker.

'Do you have Monty's phone?'

'I don't know what you're on about... Are you ok?'

'Someone has Monty's phone and they keep ringing me and taunting me. Making me do stupid shit. And they said they're gonna bring it to the dance tonight.'
