NINI'S POV
"baby, where are we going?" i ask ricky as he pulls my arm out of bed.

he starts to whine. "come on. it's our last night here in salt lake before we fly tomorrow morning and get back to our jobs. let's just have fun please!"

i couldn't help but yes. "where are you even taking me?"

"you'll see. i promise you'll love it."

we ride in our rental car, listening and jamming to our favorite songs. he pulls over at a bowling alley that was connected to an arcade and my eyes just widen. he parks the car and he gets out of his seat before coming over to my side to open the passenger seat.

"holy shit, this is where-" i start and he suddenly interrupts me. "yeah, where we had our first date. come on, let's go have fun."

we spent merely 2 hours, playing some bowling and this time, i was finally hitting a strike but he still won of course. after, we go over to the arcade to play some dance dance revolution and of course, our personal fave, guitar hero. (he won dance dance revolution but i beat him in guitar hero because i'm impossible to beat in that game!)

"wow you're getting better at bowling." he tells me and i roll my eyes playfully. "well you're getting better at dance dance revo but no one can ever beat me at guitar hero!"

ricky starts to kiss my forehead and bends over to whisper something in my ear, his curls tickling my cheek, "god, you're so cute." and i chuckle.

he holds my hand, interlocking my fingers with his, "i'm starving. wanna grab something to eat?" and i nod my head.

he pulls over to a cafe and i shake my head. the same cafe where we met back when we were sixteen. "woah, it's still here? that's just amazing." i hear him laugh as we head inside.

we order our favorite pasta and of course, our usual drinks. it was the same thing we actually ordered back when we were teenagers (if i clearly remember!) we start talking and reminiscing how we first met in this exact same cafe, telling him that our first meeting was so cliche.

"i mean you were on the phone and you bumped me, making me drop my books. that happens in every teen movie ever!" i tell him and we both laugh like idiots.

"but because of that, i met you and i thank God everyday for that moment." he responds as he kisses the back of my hand, making me blush.

we continue talking and laughing, not noticing that it was 10PM already. "babe, are you ready to go? i wanna take you somewhere."

"huh? ricky, it's 10PM and we have an early flight tomorrow."

he pleads and gives me puppy eyes that he knew i couldn't resist, "please. this will be quick."

i roll my eyes playfully, "fine!"

we drive for about 10 minutes and he pulls up into an empty bright lot with street lights all over the place. we get down and walk to the lot.

"this is the exact place where i told i loved you." he tells me and it hit me. this is the place where the carnival we went to years ago happened. "holy shit this is-"

"yeah, this is where the carnival took place. too bad they took it down two years ago. but it's fine. at least the empty lot is still here." and we both chuckle.

ricky holds both of my hands, "i love you so much nins. i've loved you ever since we were sixteen and it's crazy to think that finally we're getting married. i would say a lot more but i'd rather save that for our wedding vows."

i chuckle and i pull his neck so i could give him a kiss. this kiss was different, filled with everlasting love and passion. "i love you so much ricky. you literally make me happier everyday. i can't wait to spend my life with you."
