RICKY'S POV
i was sitting down at the kitchen counter, watching and admiring nini as she scarfs down the pancakes i made for us. she notices than i haven't touched my breakfast yet and looks up to me, "what are you looking at?"

"oh, nothing. you just look stunning." i say and i see that she starts blushing a bright shade of red. "god, ricky, stop being so cheesy! it's so early!"

i laugh at her comment while i interlock my fingers with hers and i kiss the back of her hand, "nini, baby let me remind you one last time. i will never get tired of admiring you."

she blushed even more and tucks her long brown hair behind her ears, "and let me tell you as well. your cooking skills are really improving." she comments and we both burst into laughter.

we both clean up the kitchen counter, nini washing the dishes while i put them in the dryer. she runs to our bedroom first to prepare as i turn on the dish dryer. as soon as i enter, she asks me if she could shower first.

i walk over to her and grab her wrists, "you know we could save time....if we shower together?"

nini rolls her eyes playfully then she kissed me hard. she pulls away and says, "ha nice one ricky. but i think we'll take longer if we do that, so i suggest we do our individual showers." i give her a frown and she laughs while she grabs her clothes and heads to the bathroom.

i took this as an opportunity to grab something very important in my bedside drawer so i could set it inside the pocket of my jeans. i take a look at it and i couldn't help but smile. i hear the bathroom door creak and i shove the item inside. "baby, i'm done."

"wow you look amazing." i say and she blushes again. "i wear this almost every weekend though." she chuckles and i press our foreheads together. "even if you wear a paper bag or a sack. trust me, you'll always leave me speechless."

nini gets up on her tippy toes and she starts kissing my forehead, the top of my nose, and then my lips. "i love you so much ricky but come on, time for you to go freshen up. we might be late."

i chuckle as i grab my clothes from the closet and head to the bathroom. ugh, she's so amazing. honestly, i don't know what the hell i did to deserve her.

as i finish taking a shower and getting dressed, i grab my stuff and i walk to the living room. i see nini sitting down on the couch, laughing while she looks at her phone. "what are you laughing at?"

"oh our group chat. some of our friends sent some pictures in their cars, saying that they're on their way," she says as she stands up from the couch.

"haha ok, are you ready to go?" i ask and she nods excitedly. "yup. i'm super excited!"
