Anteline: Drunk

Hey guys! So after much effort, and after accidentally deleting a chapter while I was slightly tipsy myself, I have come up with the newest chapter!!!!!! I hope you enjoy ♥♥♥

Finntaine is always a thing in my Anteline fics btw. Alex and Jasmine, Finntaine's kids from last chapter also present. Ok, so after helping Ant cover for her brother and his girlfriend more times than she cared to number, Maddy accidentally informs Ant that she likes him when she gets drunk.

Not how I thought this would turn out, but when mother creativity blesses you, take it and fucking run guys.

"Madeline me darlin' come ere would ya? I can't find me good for nothin' son anywhere!" Hammerhead, captain of the dark orca, and her highly large pain in the ass father yelled at Maddy.

Stretching, Maddy glanced down at Ant, who'd been chatting with her over video call. "Sorry Ant. Gotta go."

"That's cool! Talk to ya soon Mads." Ant grinned, waving and then rolling his eyes at the giggles coming from his sisters room. That sure wasn't from a movie.

Maddy smiled at him and then hung up, silently cursing her father for interrupting. Finn was out, of course. Leaving her to cover for him and amuse Ant while he waited for his sister to return.

Oh who was she kidding? Maddy would never ever ever (insert a few more ever's) admit it to Ant, nor anyone else for that matter, but she wasn't stupid. Whilst she wouldn't necessarily label it a friendship, her and Ant had come to a sort of understanding. They got along, worked together, and yes they still enjoyed tormenting the other a lot, but at least they weren't actively trying to kill each other.

Deep down, Maddy somewhat regretted ever agreeing to help Finn hide his relationship. Because despite the fact that she'd most likely do it again for Finn in a heartbeat, working closely with Ant had caused her childish heart to develop feelings that were far beyond a simple friendship.

She would've loved to tell him her feelings. But she knew it was bound to break her heart. And where childish innocence may have been an excuse when she was younger, she was a big girl now. She couldn't fall back on not knowing any better, and was a fool if she thought otherwise.

Maddy wasn't stupid. Helping Finn to hide was difficult enough. Why did she think they could do it? She also knew that Ant barely tolerated her as a friend. He would never see her as anything more. So why was she feeding herself these ideas and images in her mind where Ant's just about to-

(I'll leave that to your imagination ;)

"Madeline! Get yourself in here right now!" Hammerhead screamed. "We don't got time for yar dilly dally!"

The young woman rolled her eyes, tempted to give him a piece of her mind. Why did he need to interrupt her fantasy? Of course she wasn't stupid. Ant definitely wasn't thinking of her in that way. Her mindset now adjusted so she could behave like a cold blooded pirate her father would approve of, Maddy stood up and walked out of the room.

"If only she'd known then how wrong she was. But alas, if she had realised the truth, there would no story for us to tell you!" Ant enthused, squeezing his nephew into his side. Maddy rolled her eyes playfully at her fiance.

"Ok, Jasmine, what was your question?" Maddy asked kindly.

"I don't have one. Uncle Ant interrupted you." Jasmine laughed. "Daddy says he'll live to regret letting you babysit us uncle Ant."
