Anyways, I'm currently really feeling the Anteline, so buckle up for this new and ever so slight role reversal chapter. I love playing on the love hate vibe I get from them! You know the fun part about one shots? You fit an entire story into one chapter. It's really cool. Enjoy ♥♥♥

Chapter info: role reversal.

Maddy is your typical 17 year old girl. Needs coffee to survive, has a highly unusual and kinda dark sense of humour, and wouldn't trade her friends for anything.

That, and her father owns the world's most successful company. But there in lies the key to one of the biggest problems she faces, her unrequited enemy, Ant Nekton. After a business venture between their fathers went wrong before they were born, their families have hated each other completely. So when a sudden change means that Ant and Maddy don't hate each other so much, what does that mean for them? This I'll be a long ass chapter.

Idk, that's probably a long intro? It'll be worth it though!

"Okay class, you'll be working in pairs." Mr Michaels, the most boring math teacher ever announced. Maddy groaned, because not only was he annoying but he was also "all inclusive" as he liked to call it, meaning that he would pair you with whoever he wanted.

Maddy Hanson had a pretty dope life. Her parents, both present and very much in love and happy. Her brother, a traitor who she loved, and close friends who she wouldn't trade for the world.

"Miss Hanson, you'll be teaming up with Mr Nekton." The teacher announced.

"Gross." Maddy yelled.

Well, her life wasn't perfect. Aside from being what most would call a rich princess, Maddy had to live with that annoying creature known as Ant.

Maybe once upon a time they could've been friends. But after his father cheated hers out of a business deal, forcing him to go into his new company alone, their families had been at war.

Stubbornly, they even bought houses by each other and refused to ever move, lest it look like they'd conceed to the enemy. For the most part, her father and mother survived by making the odd nasty comment and glaring at them whenever they saw them.

Maddy and Ant however took an entirely different approach.

"Gross? Seriously? With all that expensive education the best you can reply us gross?" Ant scoffed, flopping his head back to glare at her.

"Just my knee jerk reaction to seeing you, being near you and overall having it interact with you at all." Maddy replied.

"Shut up you two." Alpheus interrupted. "Ant we can deal with this later."

"Aw, things are getting bad when Alpheus is your voice of reason." Maddy teased, leaning back.

"Why I outta-" Ant growled.

"Maddy, that's enough." Rayla said, placing a hand on her arm. "You're lucky the teacher hasn't heard you."

"Aw she really is a bitch! She needs her master to calm her down just like a dog." Ant smirked.

Maddy gritted her teeth and jumped up, immediately drawing the attention of their grumpy teacher. "What is going on here?"

"She said"

"He called me a"

"Enough! Detention both of you, and get out of my classroom!"

Maddy sighed, and picked her bag, hitting Ant in the back of his head on purpose as they walked out. He hissed in pain and followed her, silent as they walked out.
