I huffed as I walked through the door to Colby's room. Jewel bascally wanted me to hit on Colby because he might be jealous, but I didn't want to do it. He was out of control last night and I didn't want to make it worse if I screwed up, and hopefully I won't.
I gently tapped on his hotel room door. I heard heavy footsteps come to the other side and the door swung open, almost about to rip off its hinges. Colby was standing there in only large, black sweatpants, with his hair a little messy.
I laughed a little when I saw his appearance. He gave me a cold stare, as if he didn't want to be bothered.
"Need something?" he said rudely.
"Um," I started, "Yeah, actually. I wanted to ask you something about working at WWE."
"What is it?" he asked rudely again. He really doesn't want to be bothered, I thought.
"Well, uh, you see, I got an offer to work in WWE and I just wanted to know how it was like. Jewel hasn't been in it as long as you, so..."
"But, why was I the first person to come to mind?" Colby asked quizically.
I was stuck. I had just assumed he would just answer me. "Uh, I felt like we haven't been on good terms, so I thought that if we could have some sort of conversation, we could be on at least... better terms?"
Colby looked confused, but gave a small smile. "Sure, come in."
I smiled and followed him in.
