Chapter 2

DOC

My black sedan pulled up in front of my headquarters in downtown Flagstaff, which was a small city located just outside Gallant. It had a population of just under sixteen thousand citizens. It was a quiet sunny town, where everyone knew each other. Tourists and locals were busy shopping for souvenirs, grocery shopping, or having a bite to eat at local establishments.

My favorite place was a small dinner named Jimmy's, where I had dinner just about every night with my associates.

My office was of course located in the middle of the city. My headquarters, from where I run my companies, was located on the top floor of Doc's Enterprises. I sat down at my mahogany desk with a big mahogany bookcase, filled with books and manuscripts about business, history, finances, and other subject areas that interested me. I got to work and made a few calls and returned important emails.

While on my way out one of my guys Rey who had delivered anan oscar worthy performance to get a job in truth he was my inside guy who kept me up to date also knew not to cross the boss. He worked his way up in my empire finally gaining my trust.
Which is why I was surprised and furious at what he told said.
The boss there been an interesting development I need to get out of here quickly I can't talk long apparently the agency is now back and clean this time coming hard I've been compromised they are sending their best team and guy Agent Raheem the man who always got his man, the guy who put criminals in jail like laundry is a back word you're next on his list.

Rey thanks for the info as you should know I'm not afraid of nobody I run this town furthermore you expect me to be scared, pathetic it's only because you work for me I had given you my time to meet at our spot at the usual time. I want to hear more of our tail. Bthe ut boss is serious I think you should be Boy you better not mention anything about this to anyone you know I run this city with an iron fist. Wherever you are meet me and be glad I am willing to listen to this nonsense yes boss.
I sure wish Doc would listen he thinks he's all that but maybe I talk some sense into him and explain the situation. Maybe disappear after because I don't want to ruin my life anymore cause of him.

I had never heard his name before "nor had I ever seen the guy." At least, I cant recall.

I wonder what more nonsense Rey got to say but anyway, my stomach is grumbling dinner time he better not ruin my appetite.   I strolled through the lobby and out the door into my waiting limo.

AGENT RAHEEM POV

Luck was on my side; it had only been a couple of days since the storm when I managed to get a flight out. After about a four-hour flight I finally managed to get through security which seemed like forever.

It was like rush hour traffic. My flight from the island was a couple of minutes late. I was normally a patient guy but the case I had been assigned was unlike any other I had received. After getting my luggage I strolled out of the airport, got a cab, and headed for the agency.

"Galactic Special Agency, which is where I worked in NewMart just outside of Flagstaff, was corrupted a long time; before I became an agent "but now has been taken over again by the founder.

Although I had never met the person, I was determined to find out who the mystery woman was and how she was involved, along with catching DOC.

As I opened the director's door I saw Sammy dressed in a grey skirt suit. I was briefed about my mission, by Sammy who had spoken on the phone I: recognized her Southern Accent. We thoroughly went over the details then I was on my way. I didn't like to waste time. I was handed a case file which included:

Name of Suspect: UNKNOWN but is known as DOC

Description - None

Crimes committed - Counterfeiting, Robberies, Smuggling drugs

Where the suspect was known to frequent - His headquarters, Jimmy's

Wanted Alive

Bribery

Dangerous

The part of my job I enjoyed the most was getting inside their circles and taking them down: seeing the look on their face once caught was like a bonus.

To me, this guy was like any other criminal who thought they were invincible until their world starts, to crumble. I would bring him back down to earth. It was like second nature to me at this point, having done it for so long.

I would have to be smart, vigilant, and patient to achieve my goal.

The best way to do that was in phases:

Phase 1: Get a job at Jimmy's to begin surveillance.

Phase 2: Get accustomed to his routine

Phase 3: My favorite part; take-down.

Experience taught me that guys like him were always suspicious of new guys.

As part of my job I could do martial arts and hand-to-hand combat, and I had other skills that came in handy, I could adapt to conditions or circumstances.

I arrived at Jimmy's in my unmarked car I had borrowed from the agency. My first stop was Jimmy's to get a job.

Doc arrived surrounded by guys in black suits with shades and earpieces.

Seeing as though Doc was known to entertain I and eat out always at the same place I would have to brush up on my waiter, bartender, and cooking skills. I knew to catch him I had to get inside his spot and do some surveillance and work from there. But even I couldn't predict what happened next.
