i sat down at the piano and positioned my phone, i took a deep breath and hit record.

i got my drivers license last week
something we always talked about
cause you were so excited for me
to finally drive up to your house

but today i drove through the suburbs
crying cause you weren't around
and your probably with that brunette girl
the one i always thought about

she's so much older than me
she's everything i'm insecure about

i hit the stop button.

another deep breath, and the tears started to come back. i walked to my room from set, crying on the way.

not going to lie, josh and i's breakup isn't that new and fresh but it feels like it happened days ago.

i locker my door and slid down it, throwing my head in my knees and sobbing. i hadn't let these tears out yet, but a knock at my door startled me.

"liv?" josh said, and i stood up. "yeah?" i asked, and through the peephole i saw him tense, "can we talk, please?" he said.

i unlocked my door, letting him in.

he sat on my couch, the same couch that so many movie nights had happened on.

"stop throwing popcorn josh!" i giggled, "how about...no!" he said, throwing a piece that landed in my hair.

i rolled my eyes and stuck my tongue out at him, and we fell into a fit of laughter.

"i know, that we broke up a few months ago, but i uh- saw your instagram song, drivers license." he said.

i nodded, "i-i mean it was great, i mean you're the most talented singer i've ever met but- was that true?" he asked, and i looked at him with a confused look.

"that you can't fathom loving anyone else?" he said, i nodded, "look, josh. our breakup hurt. that was a song i wrote really short after. it was packed with raw emotion." i said.

"stop dancing around the question liv." he said, and i stood up, "yes, josh! i cannot even BEGIN to fathom loving someone other than you! but you're with sabrina now." i said, walking away even though this was my apartment.

he looked down, and i knew that they were getting serious.

"when you told me you loved me, i finally felt hope again, especially about ethan. but seeing you with her made me worse." i said, my tears coming back.

"olivia, i-i love you."

"liv, please-" "no! you listen to me, you broke up with ME! i have every right to be mad at you. josh, i cannot love someone the way i love you but you broke me. completely broke my heart." i said.

he looked sorry, sincere, "liv, i came here to say, i want to try again. i'm gonna break up with sabrina" i looked at him, was he serious?

i walked out of my apartment, josh following me. we were now on main set and he was still yelling my name.

they cut the cameras and all eyes were on us, my every move being watched. "i can't just let you back, josh. not like this. not so easily." i said.

"i know, and it's gonna be hard. we're going to have to work at this everyday, and i wanna do that. because i want you liv. and i don't care if we start from the ground up." he said, god he had a way with words

i looked around, and ran into joshs arms.
