chapter two

olivia ran for me, and i caught her. someone was bound to record that. "i'm sorry liv." i said, stroking her hair. she looked up from my chest and i wiped her tears.

i went in to kiss her cheek, and she let me.

"olivia, ethan didn't deserve you. no one could ever amount to you, ever. you're so perfect." i said, wiping her tears.

"i missed you joshua." she said, and i smiled, "i missed you more olivia." i said, tapping her nose.

everyone around us clapped and i flushed with embarrassment. i let go of olivia and someone walked in, sabrina.

she walked up to me, and i nodded to olivia. olivia left, and sabrina and i kissed, and she smiled at me, more at olivia but mostly at me.

olivia looked around, "let's go uhm- practice our lines." she said, grabbing my hand. she dragged me away from main set and into our trailer.

i decided to go live whilst getting prepped for my scene, "hey guys!" i said, talking endlessly about things as the hair and makeup ladies messed with my look.

"say hi to olivia!" i said, turning the camera on her as she was doing her makeup, you could see me in the mirror staring at her as she looked into the camera.

she smiled, "hey guys." she said, starting to pack up her makeup, though she barely wore any.

i ended my live shortly after, practicing our lines as we walked to stage. "sorry i didn't tell you about my school offer! josh, i thought-" i laughed.

"sorry!" she said, "sorry i didn't tell you about my school offer! ricky, i thought that we weren't ever going to get back together. but i denied it, if that's what you wanted to know." she said.

"nini, please! i was confused why you didn't tell me but i get it." olivia smiled at me, "it's fine ricky, i guess i just thought you'd be — upset about it." i kissed her, "i could never stay mad or upset at you, nini." she smiled.

we got to stage, and repeated the scene.

"i wrote this song a few days before the performance." she said, getting her keyboard out.

all i want, is what she sung.

i smiled, "i guess you made your mind up a few days before the show." i said, and she laughed, kissing me, "yeah, it wasn't hard." i smiled at her.

"hey, i think since we're back together i should give you this back, i mean you always loved wearing it." i said, giving her my signature denim jacket.

she smiled, "i love it ricky." and i smiled, "i knew you would." she rolled her eyes playfully.

we finished the entire episode.

"denny's?" julia asked as olivia and i got ready to walk to our trailers, "yeah." we said in unison.

olivia got in my car, "i'm driving." she said, and i looked at her, "oh! i forgot you have your drivers license!" i said, and she smiled.

we drove and ordered the table, and our friends showed up. we were laughing just like old times, i missed this.

"so josh, liv..." julia said, everyone staring at us, but not our hands connected under the table. "are you guys gonna get back together or what?" she said.

i looked at olivia, and she looked back at me, and i looked back a julia, "we can't be together." i said, and olivia knew this.

"what do you mean?" julia said, everyone following her confused expression. "19 and 17 guys, and i have a girlfriend." i said, and olivia nodded.

"we were never together before, and we understand that we have to wait." olivia said, and everyone nodded.

"that really sucks." frankie said, but we soon went back to talking about random things with our friends.
