chapter thirteen

josh and i were back in our apartment and it was december 4th, our one year. i smiled at joshua as he told me to look at his instagram.

i pulled up his instagram and saw an igtv video as i clicked on it, and i heard his voice, i remember this song.

it was captioned - olivia, new single.

the song ended, and i smiled, "hey, i know you guys have been waiting for this song, and i'm here to deliver, but today is the one year ago that olivia and i got together." and pictures from us before quarantine flashed on the screen.

"i love you, olivia, more than you'll ever know, and if you saw yourself the way we all saw you, you'd know you're like a disney princess." josh said and more pictures and videos flashed on the screen.

"i love everything you do, i love the way that you randomly want to go on spontaneous drives and i love that you write songs about me every chance you get, and i love that no matter what happens you're always so positive." he said.

the video of us laughing and dancing flashed on the screen.

"i love you, and you're forever my dancing partner, my duet partner, my lover, and my weirdo." josh said, and i looked at him with tears in my eyes.

i ran up to him and kissed him, smiling. i loved him so much, "i love you more than you'll ever know, babe." he said, and i shook my head, "no, because i love you more than you'll ever know." and josh laughed.

i posted the photo of josh braided my hair and just staring at me, and i decided to write a funny but heartfelt caption.

even though you always wanna be the little spoon, i love you, and even when it got hard i believed you loved me too, and i know it's not always been easy but you were all worth it, i'm only 17 but i know what love feels like now because of you. i thank god everyday for the love you show me, and i know that you're the only one i'll ever want.

happy one year!

josh smiled as we just lounged around before going to lunch. i got ready and we headed out to a spot that josh said was a surprise.

i knew this place.

"liv, hustle up!" josh said leading me through the forest until we reached a small picnic spot, and i put my hand over my mouth.

"you did not!" josh laughed with pride, "oh but i did!" he said, and i kissed him, "thank you! i love it!" i said.

i smiled at josh as we raced to the picnic spot that i once knew, and we sat down. i had a gift
in my backpack and there was something else josh had hidden, but we ate and josh got it.

"so i know youve wanted this for awhile and i finally got you one." he said as he handed me a heavy box with brown rapping paper on it.

i laughed at his wrapping and opened it, A HOVERBOARD? i put my hand over my my and hugged him.

"OH MY GOD, i love it!" i said, kissing him as i pulled out my tiny little box, "uhm, mine isn't as good as a hoverboard but uhm, i know you wanted one so." i said, and he unwrapped it.

"oh my god, liv, i love it, and it doesn't matter, it's the thought that counts, and the less blisters i'll be getting." he said.

i laughed, it was true the gitaur pic was really creative of me, "turn it around baby." i said, and he did.

he smiled, "i love you." i smiled and shook my head, but we were leaving for our apartment because i was literally about to freeze to death.

i got hone, and decided to do a cover.

supermarket flowers by ed sheeran was hitting really hard, so i did a cover of it. i posted it and josh hugged me, and i smiled.

getting here wasn't easy.

i archived my instagram post and decided to film a video explaining our photos we post (igtv)

"so when josh and i first met we were at a radio disney event i believe, and then auditions came and we instantly clicked." i explained, "but getting to here wasn't easy, it took a lot and it took time but we're here now." i said.

i explained that over the course of quarantine we drifted and ultimately broke up, and we both had short flings which never lasted and we needed up pining after one another.

i decided to talk directly to josh.

"my caption was sort of weird earlier, but josh. i said, i love you, everything about you is straight out of a fiction book and even though we're young, i know what love feels like thanks to you."

i finished it and posted it captioning it something else and we decided to just cuddle.

a/n- heyy! so i know this jolivia story is my own timeline but i'm making a new story that's going to be WAY longer and follow more of what the real life timeline is, it takes place when they finally move back to SLC and resume filming for season 2, and it's called betty, the first chapter will be out soon!
