April bounced her leg as she bit her nail, Mayhem trilled a bit as it pushed their head against her leg. Then she got up from the couch when the brothers came back to it.
"Well, what'd the weird book say?" She asked, Mayhem jumped onto her shoulder as Donnie picked up the book.
"It said that Randy took it's advice on the whole no friends thing." Leo said simply as he folded his arms. April's eye twitched.
"Does it know how we find Randy?" She asked, the brothers shook their heads. She took a deep breath and grabbed the book. "Maybe it can give us a hint as to where he is." She said and easily opened the book. She flipped through the pages until she stopped at one. "Can't we just track him on his phone?" She asked, Donnie ran to his room as April closed the book and they all followed him.
"Come on, there has to be something!" He yelled as he tried again and again, but got the same thing. "I can't find anything, I can try again but I think he's going dark for now." Donnie said, within the next few weeks, the brothers and April tried to find him again and again. But nothing worked. The bounty for Randy however was still on which made it a little easier to try and find Randy.
But nothing was new. April went everywhere in the day to try and find him, which was slowed down by school most of the time. The search soon came to a close as a month had pasted with nothing, Randy didn't even call anyone so Donnie couldn't track him. While Donnie was in his lab, Raph was training, April was studying and Mikey was being the artist he was, Leo never gave up.
"Blue." Splinter said one day as he walked into Leo's room to see Leo sharpen his sword. "You have to give this up, your losing sleep, you haven't rest and your worrying me, your brothers and the girl." Splinter said.
"I didn't give up on him back then, I'm not starting now." He said simply as he got up from his bed and walked to a board with pictures and ribbon on some of them, connecting one another.
"Some people disapear because they want to be left alone. You need to understand that." Splinter said, Leo didn't turn to his father but stared at the board.
"But he has a home!" Leo said and turned to Splinter. "He has friends and a duty as a ninja. He can't just give that up because he thinks he hurt people. It happens! That's the hardest part of this job, you can't always save everyone!" Leo said and sighed as he sat on his bed and glared at the ground. Splinter sighed and walked to his son. He tried climbing the bed but had difficulty. Until Leo grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled him up.
"Thank you." He said and sat next to Leo who was still glaring at the ground. Splinter sighed and patted Leo's shoulder. "I understand that you ant to help your friend. It's a noble thing to do. But if the ninja boy doesn't want to do it, then he doesn't have to." Splinter said, Leo shifted away and looked at the wall that hung up his shelving.
"Then why doesn't it see, right?" Leo asked, Splinter sighed and got off the bed, brushing himself off once he was up on his feet.
"You should rest, no rest means no reward." He said before walking out Leo's room. He closed Leo's door and sighed once again.
"So?" Mikey asked, Splinter looked behind him to see Leo's brothers and April with concerned looks. "Is he ready to give up yet?" Splinter put his arms behind his back.
"I tried, but at least I got to him to rest. No promises on the other requests." Splinter said simply, what they didn't know was Leo was listening the whole time with his fists balled. He waited until he heard his family walk away before wrecking his room.
"Do they just not care?!" He yelled as he looked around his now trashed room and sighed as he feel to his knees. It wasn't until the nomicon and the mask glowed bright, Leo turned his head to it before looking back at his hands again. Then the nomicon smacked his face. "Just leave me alone!" Leo yelled, the book opened itself and the pages glowed bright for a moment.
"I found him." The nomicon said, Leo looked at the book and picked it up. A map soon faded onto it's pages. Leo smiled as a red line from where he was soon pointed to a place near the docks not to far from Leo. "Bu you must hurry, he is very weak and I feel a dark presents nearby him." It said, he nodded and laced the nomicon on his bed, still opened. He then grabbed Randy's ninja mask after digging it out and held up his sword.
"I'm coming buddy." Leo said and sliced through the air to make a portal. He simply ran into it, leaving the nomicon alone. It was quiet for a moment, until someone knocked on his door.
"Leo? You still awake?" Raph said on the other side. When he got no reply, he just sighed. "I'm coming in!" He said and pushed open Leo's door and became wide eyed when he saw the state of his brothers room. "Oh shell." He said silently, then he noticed the nomicon and walked over it, trying to not crush Leo's things in the process. "D-did you find him?" Raph asked the nomicon.
"Yes, but you all must hurry. Your brother and Randy are weak as it is and I feel something evil making it's way towards them." The Nomicon said, Raph then grabbed the book and kicked open Donnie's door.
"Aw man, I just fixed that." Donnie complained as he was sitting infront of his monitor with April leaning against it. Donnie saw the Nomicon in Raph's hands. "Why do you have the book?" He asked as he pointed at it. Then they heard a scream and Mikey came running into Donnie's room.
"Leo's room is trashed! I think something happened to him!" Mikey yelled as he waved his arms in a panic state.
"You better believe something happened to him. The book said it found Rand but it told Leo first. You best believe he went without us." Raph said and handed Donnie the Nomicon. Donnie opened the Nomicon and studied it's pages.
"I'd say he's near the south side of New York at the docks. We should probably hurry." Donnie said and closed the Nomicon as they all ran to the shellraiser.
