"How do you do training?" Splinter asked Randy the next morning. Randy pointed at the Nomicon that was sitting on the couch as Randy and Mikey were playing a game. Splinter walked up to the book and picked it up. "No, no, no." He said and set the book down but the boys weren't paying attention.
"YEAH!" Mikey yelled as he won the game, Randy rolled his eyes as Mikey did a victory dance. Splinter sighed. He then called his sons and Randy to the living room.
"Before the ninja leaves, he must retrieve the stone the tengu went to." Splinter said as he walked infront of the boys. Randy folded his arms as Splinter walked up to him. "Do you have any idea where the stone is?" He asked, Randy looked at the ground.
"No, the last thing I remember before coming here was pushing that Baron Draxum guy into a portal and waking up on a trashed roof." Randy said, Splinter nodded at this. Then he looked to his left and saw Donnie in his thinking state.
"Purple" Donnie looked up and his brothers and Randy looked at him. " is their something on your mind?" Splinter asked, Donnie cleared his throat.
"It's just that, since Randy said that his mask and the tengu are link, it made me wonder if it's possible to track the tengu with the mask?" Donnie asked, Randy thought about it.
"I never did think of it that way." Randy said and tossed Donnie the mask
"Okay, I just need a thread of it and it should work." Donnie said as he pulled out some pliers. Splinter cleared his throat and all the boys looked at the sensi.
"I called you all here to train." Splinter said, the nomicon glowed bright red.
"Sorry, gotta take this." Randy said and grabbed the nomicon and sat down before opening the book and being sucked in. He covered his face as he expected to face plant into the ground only to land on a cloud. "Huh?" He asked as he looked up and saw the first ninja meditating.
"Surprised you actually noticed the nomicon glowing today." The first ninja said as he opened his eye. Randy sat up as the first ninja looked at him.
"I'm guessing you and the nomicon don't want to train with the turtles?" Randy asked as the clouds around them moved in a calming way.
"No actually. When you train inside the nomicon, your only training your mind." The first ninja said, Randy looked at him confused. "That doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to the nomicon any less then you already do." The first ninja said as he pointed at Randy.
"Okay, okay." Randy said and pushed away the first ninja's hand from his chest. "But what do you guys want me to do? About the tengu?"
"We think you should train with the turtles. The Tengu however is hard to find because it is now back in it's stone." The first ninja said, Randy sighed in relief.
"I'm just glad I'm the only one who can open it. But what does that Baron Draxum guy want with it anyways?" Randy asked, the ninja shook his head and sighed.
"Some answers aren't infront of us. Some are under us and some we can never find until the wrong time. The nomicon also has some words of advice." The first ninja said as four sets of words appeared. One was orange, another purple, red and finally blue.
"Use your opponents strength to your advantage." The red verse said and disappeared. "Calm your mind to find the hidden fly." The blue one said and disappeared. "Fight without fighting." The orange one said and disappeared like the others. "Take what they hold most dear." The purple one said
"What am I suppose to use these for?" Randy asked, the first ninja shrugged hi shoulders. Randy groaned as he fell to his back and started falling to a bright light under the book. Randy blinked awake to see that Raph was trying to draw on his face.
"Uh." Raph threw the marker away. "What did the book say?" He asked nervously as Randy closed the Nomicon.
"The first ninja said I had to train with you guys and that now since I sent the Tengu back to it's stone, it's harder than ever to sense where it is." Randy with a slight annoyance in his tone as he stood up.
"At least you can show us your moves." Leo said as Randy shoved the Nomicon into his bag. "Donnie also got the thread from your mask and went to his lab to see if he could track the bird." Leo said and handed Randy his mask.
"Okay, let's do this I guess." Randy said as he put the mask on.
Time skip...
"I will have one of my sons fight you at a time. If you defeat them all, you with fight them all at the same time." Splinter said as Randy stood across from Donnie in the living room. "You will fight purple first." Splinter said as Donnie got in a fighting stance.
"Just to make it fair, you can use all of your weapons if you wish." Donnie said with a smirk as his bo-staff became a giant hammer. Randy smirked as he grabbed his sword. Randy ran to Donnie first and saw the staff become a tennis ball cannon. He grabbed his Kama and used it as a shield.
"DUCK FOR COVER!" Mikey said as the tennis balls went everywhere. Randy jumped into the pipes and used them for cover. He tried to think of a plan as he saw how quick Donnie's staff turned into a hammer again.
"How am I suppose to do this?!" Randy whispered yelled, then the purple words from before appeared around him. "Take what they hold most dear." Randy said and saw the bo-staff. "With out his staff, he has less of a chance of attacking me." He said, he then jumped down and saw Donnie looking at him as he leaned on his staff.
"Give up?" Donnie asked as Randy put his Kama and sword back in his scarf.
"You said I could use all my weapons, right?" Randy asked, Donnie nodded.
