The Five Ninjas in New York

Don't fear failure

"What's he doing here?!" Donnie yelled as he pointed at Randy and moved his gaze towards Donnie and just blinked.

"I told you to pause the video." Randy said and then hit his head against the floor. Donnie was now even more confused as the nomicon sighed.

"He can't see us. But he can hear you a bit since your not from the book itself." The nomicon stated as it waved it's hand in the air and a pot of tea appeared as well as some cups.

"What's up with the Nomicon version of Randy?" Donnie asked as he faced the nomicon who was hovering in a sitting motion and pouring the tea into the cup.

"That's not Nomi-Randy." The nomicon said, Donnie turned to Randy and was now confused.

"So, does that mean the actual Nomi is outside of this book?" Donnie asked, The nomicon nodded. "Phew, I almost though I was talking to Randy for a minute back there." Donnie said as he wiped his brow. The nomicon sighed as it blew the tea.

"He heard what you said." The nomicon said before taking a sip of the tea. Donnie turned to it in confusion once again. "When I sent Nomi to take Randy's place, Randy sees and hears everything he sees." He said.

"Everything?" Donnie asked in worry as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Everything." The nomicon said and drank the tea once again. "Since the ninja didn't willingly take a break, I had Nomi take his place. He is now causing havoc but has promised to not hurt anyone physically." They said.

"Can't Randy take his body back?" Donnie asked, the nomicon waited a moment.

"I'm sure if you convinced him." The nomicon said, Donnie folded his arms as if to get a straight answer. "The last time Nomi took over, he had promised nothing. Now that he has, there's a hole in the mind realm that Randy can go through if he convinced himself to fight against Nomi and to take a break and be a teen again." The Nomicon said and drank his tea.

"Great, I'll go get my brothers and-" Donnie said but the nomicon held up it's hand and pointed at the scroll that started to play once again.

With the other turtles...

"Catch me if you can, tortoises!" Nomi yelled and laughed as he ran on the roof. He had the ninja suit on and was having the time of his life. On the road below, the turtles drove the shellraiser.

"I know that Donnie hurt his feelings, but Randy doesn't need to be mean to us." Mikey whined and sighed. "It's really mean." He said, Leo hummed in thought.

"Come to think of it, he's never acted like this, or that we know of." Leo admitted, Raph opened his mouth to say something until a wall of stone appeared infront of them.

"WATCH OUT!" Raph yelled and tried to drive the other way to avoid the wall. Nomi snickered to himself until he felt his hand get shocked a little.

"Ow!" He yelled and sighed. "I didn't hurt them that bad. To bad Donnie's not with them." He said and laughed lightly. " still can't believe I got that reaction from him!" He said and fell onto his back and laughed even more until he sighed. Then he saw a blue light behind him. He turned to see April holding Mayhem.

"There you are!" April said in relief as Mayhem jumped down to sniff Nomi, he eyed the creature until April hugged him. "I'm sorry to hear what Donnie said. But it's Donnie." She said, Nomi was now confused.

"Meaning?" He asked as April let him go.

"He's the kind of person who isn't really into showing his feeling. When he get's mad about something, he bottles it up and then explodes when something really bad happens. He means well and just wants to protect his brothers." She said, Nomi blinked in surprised until Mayhem started growling at him. "Mayhem? What's wrong bud?" She asked as she picked him up.

"Are you made at Donnie too?" She asked in a childish tone as she started to pet it's head. Nomi then reached into his pouch and pulled out two smoke bombs. "I'm sure he didn't mean it."

"Well it was fun watching you baby talking the mutt but I gotta go." He said and then threw the smoke bombs onto the ground and jumped off to leave April coughing and gagging from the smoke. Nomi smirked evily as he went back to running.

Back with Donnie...

"Turn it off!" Randy yelled, the nomicon did  as he asked and faced Donnie who was looking at the ground in guilt.

"I feel like this is my fault." Donnie said, the nomicon raised a brow. "I know it's not but I feel like it is." He said, the nomicon sighed.

"I'm sure you can make amends with Randy and help him get back." The nomicon said and drank more tea.

"No way he's going to listen to me after what I just said!" Donnie yelled and gestured to Randy who was still on the floor.

"How do you know if you never try?" It asked and looked at Donnie as more tea was poured into the cup. Donnie looked at the ground. "Don't fear failure, it's what holds you back in life." The nomicon said, Donnie looked up and sighed again.

"Fine, but if this back fire, it's your fault." He said and pointed at the Nomicon who smirked and snapped his finger to allow Randy to see only Donnie. Randy looked up and groaned.

"Great, just what I need." He said and moved his head the other way. Donnie took a deep breath before walking towards Randy, knowing this was going to take a while.
