My path to work was a dreary one, with the sky grey and angry, holding back the angry tears it yearned to rain down upon our beckoning soil. I slowed my pace and soaked in the light drizzle knowing very well my hair would contain a new found gravity by the time I made it to the office. My head ached from the lack of sleep and my stomach began to be jumbled with a sense of foreboding and unease as I continued my walk.
By the time I made it to work my clothes were damp from the constant light sprinkle that accompanied me on my trip and my mood became stained with dismay when I saw a group of peculiar individuals at the receptionist desk and from what I could overhear, they were looking for me. I quickly ducked into my cubical eyeing them as they peered like hawks over the office searching for any sign of my presence. From the stench that lingered in my nostrils I could tell they were of the Full Moon pack, a conceited group ran by pretentious men looking for power around every corner, priding themselves off the supposed defeat of my pack and all that dared to oppose them. The rain washed away my sent leaving me smelling of nothing but natures rain and smog.
I watched as they left the office, but not before doing a scope out, they couldn't demand to explore the building for it risk exposing us while also managing to defy the law that existed between the council of humans and wolves. I continued my work constantly shooting texts and calls to the witch that placed the cloaking spell on me, but it seems my efforts were to no avail.
The witches name was Ayana she's a beautiful old woman that lived in a village on the outskirts of my home living alone in a cabin, isolated from the world and all the horrors that existed with it. She helped me when she discovered the predicament I was in and offered me her help taking me in; feeding me, clothing me, and above all protecting me. She casted an illusion enchantment that prevented the wolves from smelling my scent, or from even feeling my presence, but if they're looking for me that means somethings wrong. I was luck enough for the rain, but I don't know if it'll be sufficient for when I leave tonight, they'll be alert and ready for me at every corner. If tonight's the end then I welcome it with open arms, I won't fight my destiny, but in the same token I wont make it easy on them.
