"You're hungry?..." his bushy brows furrowed, narrowing the space between them, all the while his question floated in the air, dangling in the atmosphere with a heavy weight.
"Yes."
"We don't exactly cater to your special diet, you understand that right?"
"Well yes, but...."
"Tomorrow Daren will take you out for your ... hunt, but as of know I don't feel comfortable with you being out a night with him." I gave a kurt nod, and watched as he stood from his seat waving a hand to his servants to take his plate, while the other henchmen grabbed me.

I slept on the floor, not exactly trusting the mattress, my mess from the previous hour or hours had been cleaned, disinfected with strong chemicals that angered my nostrils. My teeth throbbed as the sensation of hunger began to slowly cloud my judgment, my visions blacking in and out stasis.

The door swung open and their standing proud in her frame was Rachel, leaping towards me  jerking me from my sitting position only to drag me by the arm, up the stairs and pass the dinning hall from last night. My arm was numb by the time we made it to the bathroom, a fresh towel laid on the toilet along with a pair of pants and a shirt that looked a size too small.

"There, clean up Daren will be waiting outside the door for you, but not for long patience isn't one of his virtues." She smiled with her plum colored lips, the corners swiftly dashing up to show how truly satisfied she was with her self. So in spite of her I took my time basking in the hot water, slowly detangling the nots that lurked at the nape of my neck and picking off the dirt that clung to my skin. By the time I was through the word refreshed could barely describe the content I felt, and just as I predicted before the shirt was too small grasping to my skin tightly, making me feel like a complete buffoon.

Despite the clearing of dirt and grime I still looked awful, dark bags were carried under my eyes, my lips swollen from a lucky punch, and my cheeks pale from the lack of some much needed 'meat.' Those dark almond eyes of mine carried the same emotions of last nights foray but the reasoning for them was not identical, it was no longer for my family, but rather for what the intent the Barron had for exposing himself.

The door is busted open and a furious Daren lied in the path starring daggers my way.

"Let's go, the less time I have to babysit you the better."

_

We sat in the park watching the runners pass by in silence before of course his mouth open.

"Can you, I don't know, eat someone so we can go?" The frustration that exempt itself was truly heartwarming, almost made me fall for him to be quite honest. I sighed heavily standing up, making my way over to a bushel of trees hearing the heavy stumbling footsteps of Daren behind. I peeled back a branch revealing a jogger on a hidden trail, fixing their shoes. I turned to Daren motioning my head for him to look away before grabbing the man and snapping his neck.

I dragged his body into the bushes and began to feast on his rubber like flesh letting the warmth flood its ways into my veins, poring itself into me. I devoured him in mere seconds my canines ripping him to shreds as I spat out his bones and clothes. I stood from my meal wiping his 'essences' from my face and tossing his body along with the rest of him into the forest.

"Jesus Christ, your not gonna get rid of him or clean yourself up?" His face depicted true horror and my head tilted a little as I truly began to analyze how we are seen from the eyes of our fellow wolves.

"The animals will finish him off, I prefer to stay away from genitals when I can, as for my self no one will see."

"Did you just say when you can?!"

_

By the time we reached the pack Darens perspective had completely altered, I went from a freak to a beast amongst monsters. My shirt was drenched in blood, but my hunger was satisfied, the cloud that once dropped over my mind was know relieved. Before we left the car I grabbed Darens arm watching as he recoiled in disgust.

"I just wanted to thank you for accompanying me I know you didn't have a choice, but please understand I did not choose to live this life, none of us did." He just starred forward, turned the engine off and left, leaving me in the car to be surrounded with overbearing thoughts, all screaming at me and calling me the words I knew they were all thinking.

A savage that needed to be dealt with.
