A few days had past, the sun setting and rising as I laid in a new bed, one more fit for person with needs. Daren continued to take me for my outings only once a day, it was all I needed, but the more we went the less and less he looked at me. My mental state was breaking, cracking under his judgment and I don't know how much longer I could take it.

I was allowed to wonder the pack exploring alone but never straying from watching eyes, Alpha Sebastian confided in me letting me know he needed me for information and in exchange I was granted a home. A truce that many didn't appreciate. In spite of his need for me I have yet to sit down and actually talk with him, let alone his absent Beta Elijah, who apparently was sent on a reconnaissance mission to the depths of the ocean fighting octopuses with swords.

The pack is truly breathtaking the children play amongst themselves while the parents conversations with one another even if it is to discuss their dislike for my presence. The glares they give me peer into my soul, burning me alive making me feel less than them, less than nothing.

"Ms. Young?" I swiftly turned to the voice having been startled looking into the eyes of none other Alexis. She guided me to a cabin on the outskirts of the property trying her best to have a heart-to-heart with me, but ultimately failing miserably, I could feel the discomfort and angst that riddled her body, all do to me.

By the time we reached the cabin the conversation ceased and we entered without a shared word to another as she guided me to a large room at the back where Alpha Sebastian sat waiting. His tall build fit well in his office giving him the power of comfort while sparring little for me. Sitting on the leather couch I watched Alexis leave and another enter. The man was tall, but not as tall as Sebastian he was lean with short cropped hair and ebony skin that allowed the jewels that studded his brow bone and septum to stand out. Without much to say Sebastian spoke while the stranger fiddled in cabinets and he refused to be gentle about it.

"Jaime sorry to drag you in here on such a short notice, but my time is very limited but my questions are very much so time consuming so Ill get straight to the point. We need answers as to why you left, how many people are in your pack, and what you know about this 'Baron Odin.'" He leaned forward as he always seems to do, cuffing his sleeves along with him.

"I left my pack seven months ago I haven't had contact with any of them sense and as for what you need to know about Baron Odin his name says it all for you." My chest sinking at the sound of his name, never would I have thought I would ever hear it again, how foolish of me to have been so naive as to think I could ever make a life for my self outside of this damn prophecy.

"What that tells me nothing about him! I don't have time for your cryptic antics!" His fist slammed against the table, I raised my head in defiance of him an action I knew would cost me and so quickly did I regret it. He stood from his desk storming towards me, all the while my head did not move, but before he could reach me, he spoke.

"Fury, it means fury, like the emotions your evoking at her." He finally turned his back now facing the wall while his eye peered at Sebastian only to switch views and stare at me instead. I watched as he cleared his throat looking away, placing a hand on Sebastian pulling him away, an action only a Beta could do without provoking even greater violence.

"I suggest you speak Ms. Young." Dark eyes starred yet again only this time I was the one to look away.

"He's married to my aunt, if she's even still alive."
    "Why do you say that?"
"Because she lied to him."
"Why would a little white lie leave someone dead?"
"I can't tell you that."

"The whole reason you're still breathing is because I need you to tell me things, don't make me regret keeping you alive!" The words seethed out of him like the venom of a snake seeping into its prey, but before it could paralyze me the soft spoken Beta reeled him back in. I chewed my lip again seeking out the blood to soothe me.

"There are things I can't say, but believe me when I say the Baron and I must never meet again." I tried to plead with them watching as they shared a look before Sebastian answered.

"That's going to be difficult seeing as your going the gala this weekend ."
