Farhan...Lottie's heart squeezed. Muhammad Farhan. That was his name. Someone that used to be a special person to her. "F-farhan..." Lottie stuttered. "What are you doing here?" she asked, shifting uncomfortably in her spot. "Hm? You don't remember? I'm anak dato'. I was transferred here permanently from Asia Pacific. You know, my old school. What are you doing-"Farhan stopped midsentence as he finally noticed Jamie. "Who are you ?" he said, his eyes narrowing. "I'm-" Jamie started. "M-my boyfriend! Yeah, he's...my boyfriend! Ha..ha.." Lottie quickly interrupted as she grabbed Jamie's hand, her own hand sweating. Farhan stood silently. "Oh..really?" Farhan said as he raised an eyebrow. "Leave us." Jamie said sourly. He then turned around and pulled the two girls towards the classroom. After classes, the trio made their way to lunch. Jamie ordered Lamb Chop with black coffee. Lottie had Chicken Rice with a Iced Caramel Latte and a lychee pudding. Ellie had Fried Rice, apple juice and two sticks of caramel apple.
They made their way to a deserted table and sat down. "So...what's the deal with that Farhan dude?" Ellie asked as she bit into a caramel apple. "Oh..him..he came to my school as a school thing. And we became friends. And I started to fall for him but didn't that end well."Lottie explained. "When I finally had the courage to tell him. He rejected me, saying that he liked someone else. And from that day, I thought I could never fall for somebody again. But I was wrong. Again. I fell for someone ever since I laid my eyes on him." Lottie turned to Jamie, smiling sweetly. Jamie's eyes widened in surprised as he choked on a piece of meat. He drank his coffee and turned towards Lottie. "You do?" Jamie asked, bewildered. Lottie nodded. "Then what about what happened in the Woods?" Lottie asked. "What happened at the Woods?" Farhan asked and slid into an empty seat opposite of Lottie. Jamie's jaw clenched at the sight of Farhan. "Nothing that you should know." Lottie snapped. The silence was cut by the loud crunch of Ellie's caramel apple. "Ellie, you should tone down on the sweets you know. It'll give you cavities." Jamie said. Ellie nodded her head vigorously.
"So..Jamie.." Farhan said curtly, like the name was poison. "How did you meet Lottie?" Jamie stood up to throw away the remains of his food. Same goes to Lottie and Ellie, leaving Farhan alone. She wasn't the same Lottie that he heard about. He sighed and left. Her vest was purple so she's in Ivy.. He was in Conch. He sighed again. He looked up at Lottie and Jamie talking together and suddenly Lottie giggled. He felt a twinge of jealousy at his heart. Lottie is mine! If that weak idiot thinks that Lottie was his, he better watch out. He grinned manically.
