Sunshine [Tony Perry]

Bzzt. Bzzt. Bzzt.

Ugh stupid phone, would you just shut up? I thought to myself.

I groaned and rolled to my side to see who was waking me up. I reached over to my nightstand and grabbed my phone.

It was only 9AM!

Jesus Christ.

And of course it had to be my lovely cousin Jaime.

I had missed his call, so I decided to call him back.

'Yes Jaime?' I asked as soon as he picked up. I probably sounded a little rude but it was too late to regret it.

'Well good morning to you too, Sunshine.' he laughed.

Sunshine was his nickname for me because apparently Jocelyn was too long for him, it's shorter than Sunshine!

'Yeah yeah. Any particular reason why you woke me up so early?'

'Yeah, I'm bringing Vic, Mike, and Tonyyyyy over.'

Oh great, Tony. Only Jaime knew of my crush on Tony, even though Tony and I didn't get along very well.

'Shit I gotta get ready.' I mumbled. 'I mean, okay that's cool.'

'Dress pretty.' he laughed before he clicked.

Oh dear, here we go.

Within minutes I was ready.

I was wearing some black skinnies and a black tank top with a giant white key in the middle.

My short brown hair was straightened and my eyes were rimmed with a hint of black.

'Good enough,' I said as I looked at myself in the full length mirror.

Remind me why they're coming to my house again?

I was sitting in my living room when I heard a knock on the door.

Let the struggle begin.

I sighed as I slowly got up and walked over to the door. When I opened it, there he was.

Tony.

Wearing the almost the same clothes as me, except he was just wearing a plain black tank top. He was in all black today.

Black jeans, tank, shoes, even his plugs were black.

But to my surprise, Tony looked a little sad.

'Hey, you okay?'

'Yeah. Whatever.

'That was amazing you guys.' I smiled.

'Yeah, I know I'm amazing. No need to tell me.' Tony said.

'What's up with you I never said YOU were amazing I said THEY were. Jesus, just stop being such a prick and accept compliments when they're given to you.'

'Well maybe I would accept your compliments if I liked you.'

'And maybe I would care if I liked YOU.'

'Okay you guys, stop it.' Jaime said.

'I'm not going to stop until this douchebag apologizes.'

'What? I'm not apologizing for anything.' Tony said, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

'Alright, that's it. You two are coming with me.' Jaime said.

He walked over to us and took us by the hand. He led us to a room and pushed us in.
