False Scandal

Mackie woke up and went outside. She heard her parents talking and they seem to be problematic about it. It must be about the Residency or the album or anything about business. She just hope that her Mama's fine. She went to the kitchen without being noticed and prepared her own hot chocolate drink she always likes in the morning.

"This is not happening! We haven't even had the welcoming party yet and now this?" She heard her Mama talked.

"Honey, Marie's involved! I don't want her to get through all this!" She added not aware that she's awake already that early.

Now she's curious. It must be about her! She walked closer to them bringing her mug with her. They're at the living area and she's still wearing pajamas. They're always thankful that the boys aren't home every time something like this comes up. But unluckily she's here and she's heard it's about her.

"Mama? Papa?" Her Mama wearing a nice clothes for outside now ready to step out and her Papa in his usual tux. She didn't know when her parents arrived but she's certain they weren't home last night.

Céline gave Renè a worried glance before walking towards her daughter. They both seated at the living area where she placed her mug on that glass center table.

"Good morning Mon amour." She said with a lot calmer tone now then kiss her on the forehead. It's still unclear what was going on but she's aware it's about her that sends a little anxiety inside her.

"G-good morning. What is going on?" Her eyes gives glances between her parents. They almost both sigh in unison and she knew it's definitely about her.

"You're on the news. But it's just a small thing. Your Papa and I are fixing it." But she couldn't possibly believe that.

"I'm on the news? W-what does it mean?"

Céline sighed deep and shut her eyes that made her nervous a little more. Renè slowly went to them and remained standing in front.

Céline started to formulate words that could make it sound not too big but she just simply cant find it. She's also aware that her daughter is not yet ready for all these, but how could she ever do it without hurting her? It's impossible! And it scares her tremendously thinking about it.

"Mama, I want to know... please." Although it's hard for Céline, she gave her the magazine. She don't have idea how to explain it to her as well so she just let her had the papers where it covers a picture of her and her Papa at the Jollibee. They were laughing and they looked so happy. There's nothing wrong with it except the Captions: Renè and a teen sugar baby.

Opening the page and a lot more of their stolen pictures. More from Jollibee while they eat, when they entered and get out of the Benz and from the angle, it seems to look like they were lovers for those people who doesn't know. But then again, The world doesn't know the truth!

Mackie's tears started to pour so hard but she doesn't make any sound while looking at the pictures with their captions on bold: Mysterious Teen seen with Renè Angelil, Renè cheating Céline with a teenager, Renè Angelil caught on cam with Sugar Baby, and so on when Céline took the magazine back almost abruptly and hugged her daughter trying to keep her away from whatever that might hurt her.

Oh my Marie...

Renè joins their embrace blaming himself, he should've been more careful. He should've known better! It's his daughter they're talking about here!

"I'm so, so sorry, mon amour, This is my fault. I'm all to be blamed." There are sorrow on his voice but as time passes like that, the more her tears pool down. She embraced her dad this time, crying with sound. It's so heavy and sorrowful.
