"Are you still nervous?" Asked Céline to her daughter. She's holding both of her hands while still inside the guest room of the studio.
It was the first time she applied makeup. Céline asked the makeup artist to give her light ones because she knew her daughter don't apply them. Her hair just brushed lightly keeping that natural curly brown hair down and her simple yellow dress accentuate the lightness of her skin tone like her Mama's.
Céline wears this really nice white pants and silver top with ribbon at the neckline. Her hair is blonde but the curls like Mackie. And stilettos always stands up.
This will be her first appearance on television. Her parents decided to be at Oprah, since she's a close friend and knew she'll never ask questions that Marie will find hard to answer.
They thought that time would kill the issues but in a long run, people started to love Mackie. Céline's publishers started posting pictures of Mackie sweetly hugging and kissing her parents or videos of her playing with her little brothers or singing jokingly to her Mama with funny voices and people's attentions started to get caught. It's supposed to be for public display that she's definitely their child but things started to get born from that.
She nodded but gave her a smile. "Yes Mama but I'll be fine as long as you're with me." She assured her.
A knock on the door interrupted. Opening up, it was Oprah. The second time she ever saw her personally. Mackie loves her shows as well. Especially when she's having an interview with her Mama.
"Are you ready Céline? Marie, Honey?" She says and finally went inside. Mackie pursed her lips in a thin smile.
"I guess my baby is ready now."
"That's good! Let's go?"
Oprah went on the set first while the both of them stays at the backstage ready to be called. They went out once she called them and gave the both of them kisses on the cheeks.
"Thank you so much for being here Céline!... Hi Marie!" She greeted and Mackie shyly smiled inward. People's reactions were like seeing a cute little dog.
"Thank you so much for having me and my daughter. It's been a while!"
"It is, it is. And I am the luckiest I'll be the first one to show Marie on television... but she is a little shy."
Céline laughed. "She is not used to this so..."
They started talking and Marie sits there close to her Mama saying nothing. She's smiling or laughing softly when hears something hilarious from the stories. Her mama is hilarious and fun and slowly she's starting to adjust.
"So, I wanna ask Marie, if that's okay..."
"Don't be shy, Mon amour." Céline says softly to her daughter.
"I want to ask, how do you feel being here?" She's holding her microphone and slowly bring it closer to her mouth. Everyone is silent including the people inside the studio, waiting for her answers.
"I'm nervous." She answered shortly and chuckled softly.
"That's okay honey, don't be... But, I can't believe it! You definitely look like Céline back when she was younger! And ooh! The hair!"
"Oh she's even more beautiful, Oprah. She's definitely gonna be better than Céline." Céline joked with funny face and voice. Made the audience laugh.
"No, but seriously. Marie to me looks really beautiful young girl. And really talented? Yes?"
"Yeah that's true. So, as what our publishers released the other day, My Marie here is a fan. And I've met with her at the last destination of my World Tour at San Andreas. She have this really beautiful portrait she draw and..." they previewed her works in that huge screen at the back amazed the audience and so do Oprah. They all looked surprised and Mackie can't help but feel amazed as well, seeing her work in front of these people and on television.
