A Mother's Pain

Rosario's keeping everything for the vacation. She made sure everything is properly arranged inside the café before they leave. She planned to go back to her province and bring Mackie with her. She's not planning to go back or at least sooner even if it means losing her bakeshop.

"Have you packed your things Mackie? We have to go." She called from upstairs where her daughter is.

It's raining but she's decided to go right now. After that day she saw the necklace, she's been thinking a lot of things whether Mackie is being traced by someone. By her real family or those men who tried to kill her on that crash. For now, she can't be sure but on one thing. She won't let them have her.

One day she went to school, Rosario took all the things Mackie had when she found her at that crash. She had a pink little shoe, the pair was left somewhere and that little dress she's wearing that day. She has a blue small earrings which she also kept together with everything else.

She was an OFW at Montreal and had a brawl with her employee. Her salary's not right, she decided to just go apply for another one or just go back home but she's penniless and decided to walk and find a work. She heard that crash. There's a black limo with smoke all over and she never think twice to ran and check for anybody inside.

The Driver's unconscious, she tried to wake him up but then failed. At the back there goes another woman with blood on her head, also unconscious and 2 children crying! The other one has a scratch on the leg. But the little girl, she has blood on her arms as well as the left foot! She was crying too bad and decided to get her and the other one to the nearest hospital!

She don't have money, she can't speak French and there are people inside this car after a crash!

She had the little girl on her arms and about to take the little boy as well when she saw 2 men with guns in their hands!

It almost calmed her down when a man in police uniform are with them, but instead of going for a help, they just stand there and the man in police uniform aimed at the car and started firing!

She's shaking and they're going towards their direction, thought they saw her so she ran with the little girl away almost crying to leave the young boy behind!

Why is there a policeman with those men who could have done something like this?! It confused her so much as why they did that to two little children who didn't know anything!

But she can't do anything more! She just ran following the beach. They must've seen her with that little kid! But she didn't stopped running away from the scene until she reach the far location and decided to stop for a while.

Rosario looked at the kid's eyes. She's finally calmed, blood stopped and she took off a handkerchief, wet it with the small amount of water she has inside her bag and used it to slowly and carefully take away all the blood from the little one's skin.

She remembers her little child she lost 2 years ago. Her name's Mackienzie. She's a year old when Rosario found out her child has a congenital heart disease. She's never lose hope but the heavens took her away from her. A devastation it had all been. Then she decided to just work abroad to make herself forget.

She missed her Mackie so much.

This child she's holding, reminds her so much of her daughter. But she is clearly not hers. She has to wait for people that'll look for her. She can't go to the police! A policeman just aimed and shoot at the car! Clearly, even the authorities aren't safe for trusting right now!

She remembers to call a friend from Montreal. Rosario aren't up for asking help but she needed on this one. She has to keep this child away from those men who wants to hurt her.
