Rosario had been staying with Milagros her friend who just went home from Canada for 3 days now. The family decided to stay there for good as Pol came in for his work.

She had told everything to her since Milagros has seen the Oprah interview on television. She can't hide her that! Besides, she's basically her only friend ever since.

She's in the living room with her friend still asking her a lot of questions regarding that. Only, she just wanted her to stop asking questions.

"So, Mackie is Céline Dion's daughter? The Céline Dion?!" Milagros exclaimed! She can only do the paper flowers on the table. She's been helping her friend out for another set up at work.

"Yes Milagros." Rosario's bored tone.

"How come the world doesn't know that?! Besides, she's like a royalty in Quebec! I'm still wondering as why they didn't broadcasted it to find her!"

She still can't believe it! That accident, they thought that the kid is a child of a rich family since she found her at a limo. But to know that's she's a daughter of someone well known, well that was new!

"I haven't talked to Céline yet about that." She made an 'o' from her mouth. Now she's talking like Céline is just someone she knew civilly.

"You guys talked?! My God Rosario! Can you introduce me to her? I really love her you know? And the crazy shoe collection—"

"Milagros." She stopped her. "Me and her are not close. Besides, she took my Mackie away. She can't give me that good impression as a start."

Milagros took a sigh. She knew she have some illuminating explanation to do to her friend. She knew it'll come. It's just that, for the long years the child is with her, she thought that she'll be hers to keep.

"You know she's not yours to keep right? We talked about this. Even from that day you went in the house. You knew you have to give her back when time comes."

"Pero napaka-bilis naman noon, Mila!" (But that was too abrupt, Mila!"

"Well she's the real mother, Rosario!" The phrase felt like a slap to her. She kept quiet. She's right.

"But I've been the mother for 15 years, Milagros! Not her! Ako ang nagpalaki sakanya! At least she should've given me ample time to bid goodbye to my daughter peacefully! Not like this." (I took care of her growing up!)

She's frustrated! There she goes again. Could there be something that make her feel okay? Yes, certainly. But her daughter can only do that. Her daughter with her right now.

"I know... and you did well... Even so, she doesn't hold the decision and the fact that she's Céline's daughter. And Céline? She has every right to her."

Her phone rings. It was Mackie! She had never felt excited for the day. But it's unusual for her to talk at times like this. It would probably be passed midnight at Florida. But it was her daughter calling so.

"Mackie anak! Kumusta ka na? Napatawag ka? Miss na miss na kita anak ko." (Mackie how are you? Why did you call? I miss you so much!)

"I miss you too Mom!" From there, she knew there's something going on with her. Although her daughter tried hard to sound normal, she can't hide it from her.

"What is wrong?"

It's still early when Mackie woke up but she's almost sleepless last night calling to Rosario. As expected, she's been crying when finding out she can't go for her birthday.

She thought that Rosario would understand but she can't help but feel emotional about it. She tried to console her tell her she'll definitely make it up to her and even though the call ended after an hour, Rosario just kept quiet about it.
