Sneaking Out

Céline recently been so curious of her schedule. Once in a while asking her husband about her free time, countries to go to and other things in the agenda. It's been odd to him since she's never like this. Janna's always with her to remind her about whatever comes up just within 3-7 days schedule but now, she's curious of her almost a month or two.

He has no idea but then guessed she just wanted to know wider than she does usually. Maybe changing the adjustments she does for the shows and everything else?

"So, you have a free week, Miss Céline by... 4. Planning for a vacay?"

A vacation? That's what she's been planning. But not really because of relaxing or visit the greek islands. But that's all she can reason out, right?

"That's what I'm thinking."

"Sounds exciting! Bora-Bora? Maldives? or hmm maybe the greek islands?" Janna sounded more excited than her. But all she know is a lot different than her people thinks.

She just gave her a smile before she leaves. Renè on the other hand went in, kissing her and sitting just beside her. She's facing her mirror and taking her make ups off. That's her routine. She doesn't want to go home to her children wearing those thick things on her face.

"Renè, I was thinking I could use that 1 week free for a vacation alone." She says without even looking at him.

It gave him a shock. It's not like he's against it. It's just something she's never used to do. And having a vacation without them? Or even without the boys? That's really unusual.

"What do you mean." His tone's stern but made it a lot more with his raspy voice.

Just hearing him with that tone, she knew. She knew her husband. And with that tone, he's not going to agree with her. But she kept it cool. Removing her earrings like the usual day.

"I wanted to take the week off. Maybe Greece. I wanted to do it alone."

Alone. Once again that word seems to echo in his ears and he doesn't like it. Plus, what is it so important that she has to go alone? She knew how much their kids misses her from the long stay at Vegas but why is she pushing to go somewhere else instead of staying at home and stay with her children instead?

"You're not going." He remarked and stood up. He doesn't want this conversation anymore. He doesn't want her to leave anywhere.

"Why is this a big deal to you?!" Céline's voice started to raise up.

Renè made sure the doors are closed and locked that nobody could barge in and see them like that. But sure, with their voice raising like that, everybody from outside could hear them.

"Why is it to you?" He retorted. He's trying to calm himself down. Trying so hard not to raise his voice to her at all. And they can't be fighting in here. They could probably hear them right now.

Céline finally stood up and face him. She's a bit frustrated from that look and he just couldn't understand.

Why is she pushing it too much?

But why can't he let her do it?

He didn't know but he's sure there's something going on and he could only wish to know what. Recently, she's been so secretive. Oh he knew. Even though being absent at home, he can definitely feel it. Something is off with his wife and it's not giving too much of good effect on the people around her. Including their children.

"I said, I wanted to take the week off."

"And alone, yes. I heard you."

She couldn't feel more frustrated. There's a lot of things going on in her head and this one, she just thought that maybe will be alright to ask. But didn't know what else could make it harder.
