The Mistake

"Thanks RC! I'll just grab something from my room."

"Okay."

Mackie ran towards her room. She remembers she put on the cute little bunny ear key-chain inside her bag she planned on giving RC. It was made of wood and was engraved with RC's name on it then varnished. It's a pair and the other one for her.

For the twins she gave bunny coats she saw together with the slippers she gave for her Mama and a baller with bunny ears as well for her Papa.

She liked the bunny stuffs and so she decided to give them to her family for Christmas gifts. She can't think of any. Baking would always be given for Christmas. She's definitely do it and definitely not for grifts.

Mackie checked on her walk-in closet and checked where she always put the Black Chanel at. But she looked everywhere, and there was nothing!

"Where is it?"

Her walk-in closet is not big compared to her Mama's but it's big for almost 7 square meters. And she haven't had a lot of things inside because she never really like shopping.

That's why it's impossible for her to miss the bag if it is in there but she checked the room thrice and it's really not there! And that bag! It's a gift from her Mama!

She's panicking, trying to think real hard where it could be. She can't possibly forget it outside the house! She have to check inside the car!

And without anyone knowing! Especially her Mama. She'll definitely disappoint her when she find this out! Luckily they aren't home today.

She tiptoed out to check if it's inside the car. The driver is in there. She's frightened at first from the presence.

"Miss Marie?" It was their youngest driver of 25 years old. He's also newly hired.

"Uh... y-yes. I just uh... want to check if I left my bag there. Can I please see if it's inside?"

"Of course Miss." he opened the car for her but it was nothing there anywhere. There are no anything inside.

"The car has been cleaned a while ago, Miss."

"Sir, have you maybe seen a black back inside? Earlier?"

"No Miss. There was nothing there. But please just call me Miles... Maybe it's in the other car with Gardo. I'll check it Miss." he left to get inside the other car.

She's certain, if ever it's in the car, it's in this one. This is the last car they used before she realized she lost the bag. And now it's not here! Where could it be?!

They went to Christiano's. Then Starbucks... then Lindt?

Marie remembers now! She left it at Lindt! The keychains are there as well as her notebook! She can't lose that one especially because the bag is special to her.

He went back. "There was none, Miss. I asked Gardo."

"Uh, Miles, I wanted to ask you for a favor."

"Anything miss."

She went closer to him, checking every where if there's anybody listening and when realized there was none, she said almost whispering, "Can you please drive me to Lindt?"

She wants to go out?

"I'm s-sorry Miss but, I can't do that."

"Please! Pretty please! I really have to get the bag back. Mama gave it to me as a gift. That's the first gift she ever gave me. It's really special to me so, please Miles? Please?"
