while chanhee is busy cleaning and fixing up his house, changmin is singing and dancing optimistically.
both middle schoolers were happy to see each other out of school for the first time in a month.
once changmin gets dressed and packs his clothes, he texts chanhee that he's on his way.
chanhee freaks and runs around the small modern home to make sure everything is spotless and clean.
chanhee only did this because changmin is his new friend and he's never been to the blonde's house before.
he did this the first time younghoon came over in elementary school. after that, he stopped caring.
changmin is skipping happily to chanhee's house in content.
after a twenty minute skip, changmin is nervously knocking on chanhee's door with shaky hands.
he inhales and exhales slowly, his nerves tattering.
"hi changmin," chanhee greets and lets the younger into his humble abode.
"wah~! your house is really nice chanhee," changmin says in amazement while setting his backpack down.
"i cleaned up a little and my parents are gonna be home in a few hours. they like going to jeju for groceries and the scenery. they're photographers."
"really? that's cool."
chanhee nods, "my room is this way."
changmin follows behind the boy in knee high socks, shorts and a t-shirt. he loves the elders outfit, it compliments his milky tone.
"you want to watch movies? if you're hungry i can make us something, i'm pretty hungry myself," chanhee smiles.
"i'm hungry too. you don't have to cook anything, i'm fine with cereal."
"good."
chanhee leaves his room and goes to the kitchen as he leaves changmin alone so he can pick out what movie to watch.
changmin of course wants to pick a horror film, but he didn't know if chanhee likes those so he just goes with a drama he's always wanted to watch.
chanhee's walking back to his room with their bowls of cereal.
"i hope you like oreo o's," he smiles and changmin nods.
they begin eating their cereal in peace.
"i really wish i had a friendship like tae-o and songi," chanhee comments as they watch my first first love.
"yeah.." the brunette trails off.
changmin starts to feel a little sad since he lost his bestfriend because they let something so stupid come in between them.
his spoon clanks against the bowl making a semi-loud noise.
"are you done?" chanhee says as he leans over, "wait..why aren't you eating? your cereal is gonna get soggy."
"i-i'm not hungry anymore."
"why not? is something wrong? you can talk to me about anything, i promise."
changmin slightly smiles at that.
"well you see...my bestfri- ex-bestfriend and i aren't friends anymore and i guess i'm still upset about it. i know it's stupid to be crying over something like this, but i can't help it," changmin says as he wipes his few stray tears away.
"it's just.." he pauses, "we've been friends for a little over seven years now but it was all thrown away because of a crush she had on me and because of my crush on someone else."
