Mina's POV

We're about to finish eating when Sana spoke. She looks at me. "So, Mina. May we talk about it now?" She hesitantly said. "What really happened to Chaeyoung?"

I blinked. I lowered down the utensils I was holding. I know that they really want to know this since yesterday. After all, Jihyo is right. They have the rights to know. I was slightly stunned as the events of that night slowly came to my mind.

"Mina! Aren't you really going to go with me? It'll be fun for sure." Chaeyoung said while applying lipstick. She was facing the full length mirror in my room. She was there to invite me for the nth time to be with her.

"I'm not in the mood for extreme noise and grinding sweaty bodies, Chae." I answer. I continued typing on her laptop. "One more thing I need to finish this inventory that I need to pass for tomorrow."

Chaeyoung pouted. I remove my gaze at the laptop monitor and look at her clothes. My forehead twitched immediately. "Isn't that too short? The dress you were wearing?" I raised my eyebrow.

Her eyelash with mascara blink. "Really?" She asked. She's not used to wearing that. Her dress is usually at least close to knee length.

I got more suspicious. "What is this? Are you meeting someone at that Bar?"

She laughed as she was closing her bag after putting on her lipstick. Her medium short and curly hair was styled with a ribbon in a girly way. She was wearing a lilac color summer dress. She loves pastel colors.

"No. But I heard she's going to be there tonight." She grinningly answer.

She faced me and excitedly sit on the bed next to me. I suddenly stunned at what she had said. A familiar and bad feeling swept over my body. "Who?" I ask. Even If I already knew what she would answer.

She rolled her eyes. "Who is it? Chou Tzuyu, of course." She almost squeal just saying her name. I feel like my head suddenly palpitate.

"Chae, you better not go." I casually said.

"Why?" She almost whined. "It's Friday! Don't be too workaholic. It's not even part of your job description anymore. Loosen up a little, Mina."

I look at the laptop but I already lost all my attentions there. I know Chaeyoung has a thing for that woman. Almost every girls and boys have a thing for that woman. They are very attracted to her. Chaeyoung once described her as dark, mysterious, and sexy as hell. It's as if something is pulling her towards her. She wanted to know what Tzuyu  was hiding in it's deadly look and sexy smiles.

"Chae, seriously." I warned. "Haven't you heard about what has happened in the last few months? What if something bad happen to you?" The exact time I already want to be with her.

"Oh, it's just random rumors. And we have a promise, right? We're not going to be victimized by those. That's why we study judo last summer." She got up from the bed to leave. "I will be safe."

I turned to face her. I was already contemplating whether to go with her. Maybe I can finish my work later in the morning. "Chae, I think I'll just go—"

She cut me off. "No no. It's okay." She look at her phone while saying that. Her eyes widened as if she wanted to squeal to whatever she saw. She turned to face me. "I'll go. See you later!" She said with a broad smile before leaving.

She went to my bedroom door. But before finally going out, she looked at me. "Don't worry, Mina. I'll be fine." Then she closed the door. That was the last time I saw her smile and alive.
