Mica's POV

The vehicle stopped in front of a large mansion. This mansion have a huge differences to Tzuyu's house. It is found in the middle of the woods. It was dark outside except for a side street light that looked like an airport runaway.

No visible light on the window or in the entrance door. But I can see a light on the back of the mansion. Tzuyu came down as the door opened on her side.

I was so confused and alarmed in this horrid place. The mansion that was infrong of me are much darker than the grayish sky above where the clouds were covering the stars.

Tzuyu entered on the main door without even knocking. She held my hand and I could do nothing but follow her. I can't help but think of a bad things. My imagination is on it's peak again.

This is the Chou's Mansion. Chou Tzuyu's family. A family of vampires! It was very quiet when we entered. Quiet and dark. No one greeted us. I don't know if there's someone here.

"Shit. Will you stop stepping on my foot."

"I do not know?" I answered before removing my foot from treading her beloved sandals. "Do I see what I'm stepping on to."

I heard her muttered. "Humans."

I rolled my eyes on her. Sure, maybe she can see through the dark or something. Maybe they can all see through the dark. Who knows? Terror started to sip into my system. Now doubled.

"You're trembling." Tzuyu said with a hint of humor.

It was the first time I heard a hint of humor in her voice since we left the university. So instead of answering, I let her. We continued walking through the dark mansion.

Once in a while I see a light. Miniature balls of light in mid air, like floating candles. But maybe it laying into a furniture that I can't see because it's too dark.

Later on the area are gradually being brightens. Tzuyu slipped something in front of us. It has me the impression that it is a thick curtain or fabric. I was overwhelmed by the light that greeted us.

I had to adjust my eyesight because of the light. When I did that, the voices greeted me as well. As I opened my eyes I realized we were in the back part of the mansion.

The first thing I noticed was the top of the trees in the dark woods not far from us. Paper lamp sized lights were attached to the straps from the mansion to the edge of the woods.

It reminds me of summer bonfire parties. But instead of the beach, we're behind a mansion in the middle of the woods, instead of summer, we're in the middle of September.

It was indeed a party. A small gathering. With people — gorgeous, stunning, graceful people, wearing tuxedos and elegant cocktail dresses smiling and talking with each other — all while exposing their gleaming white fangs. Holy shit.

"Whoa! What do we have here—"

I immediately turn to a woman who's approaching us . She was wearing a beautiful white cocktail dress; Her grayish hair was arranged in a braid, She grinned amiably. Grinned and there's the fangs.

She stopped when her our eyes met. She squinted her brown chinky eyes as if assessing me. After a minute, her lips went open as if disbelief. She has the same thin captivating lips as Tzuyu. But instead of a smirk, a smile dominated on her.

"The fuck, Tzuyu?" She says next to the person beside me. "What the hell are you thinking in your airhead of a brain?"

"Shut the fuck up, Jeongyeon." She calmly answer. But the woman named Jeongyeon was not satisfied.
