Mina's POV

The rain already stopped. But the date skies arws still there. The sun was now rising in the distant when I left Tzuyu's mansion. I didn't wake her up. I make no noise. I just wanted to get out of the place.

I walked out of the mansion's property. The trees loomed above me creating dancing shadows on the path where I was heading. The place was wet. Mildews glistening against the lone rays of sunlight filtering through the leaves.

I tightened the grip on the jacket I was wearing. I waited for a car on the road. The place was silent, secluded, almost solemn. A place hiding a secret.

Half an hour passed before I saw a taxi. I tapped my worn out shoes on the cemented pavement. My uneven breathing created a mist in the air. When the taxi passed in front of me I immediately stopped it.

It didn't stop at first. But I was so desperate I blocked the car. Fortunately it stopped before its hood hit me. The window opens and the driver glances.

"I have enough money." I said before he could speak. "Take me to downtown."

He doesn't speak. But I heard him scoff. He mentioned the backseat. I opened the door and went inside the taxi. As I sat down I heard the driver whisper.

"If you came to one of those mansions, you'd probably have money."

I want to answer the driver. But I restrained myself. It's not worth it. The vehicle start moving. I stared at my reflection in the mirror. Turbulent hair, lack of sleep, pale face. No wonder the driver thought filthy of me.

When I got to the apartment I almost dropped off my bed. In the familiar place I felt my weakmess. I stared at the ceiling. I remember what happened last night. Everything felt surreal. A venomously sweet nightmare.

I held the wound on my neck. I groan. A silent cursed escape my lips. How did you end up in this mess, Mina?

-----

Tzuyu didn't return to the university the following week. I went back to my regular routine. I went to my class, and did my duty as student assistant. Typical things and typical people. Far from the underlying reality of being a vampire's blood source.

It was Thursday. We just finished our class. I was leaving the lecture room when the three follow. Sana, Jihyo, and Dahyun. Dahyun wrapped her hand on my shoulder

"Mina, you always leave without telling us."

We walked down the hallway. I tried to get rid of Dahyun's hand. They are always like this. They act like everyone is their best friend. If Chaeyoung was their companion, she might have just laughed at Dahyun's gestures. Her hearty elegant giggle would light up the bare hallway. But I'm not Chaeyoung. I'm not comfortable with people barging into my personal space.

We walked until we hit the grass covered lawn. Sana and Jihyo were talking about a certain brand of luxury bag, oblivious to the fact that Dahyun was dragging me to be with them.

"Let's go to the Henson. We haven't eaten there in a long time." Said Jihyo.

Finally I removed Dahyun's arm from my shoulder.

"I have something to go to." I said.

Sana and Jihyo turned to me. Sana was about to come up with a retort when her gazed turned to my shoulder .... or neck. I was stunned.

My bun hair before are now falling in my shoulder to cover the wound Tzuyu had done. But because Dahyun wrapped her arms in my shoulder, it lost it's cover.
