It was dark. There was no stars in the sky instead a large brooding ash cloud, thrusting lightning, screaming thunder and crying rain. As the clouds morned the loss of the sun, they became oblivious to the young girl beneath them covered in bruises...
The walk up too Hogwarts wasnt a long one, as the were in the forbidden forest. However it felt like a long one, the girl, Abi, had lost consciousness a few minutes ago and was sleeping peacefully in Tom's arms.
"What do you think happened to her?" Asked Tom breaking the silence, Albus sighed glancing at the burns and bruises that were not being covered. There was no doubt in his mind that she had more under her ripped clothing.
"I have a few idea's but we wont know until she wakes up"
"You don't think she was-" Tom lowered his voice slightly
"- let's hope not" Albus interrupted
A silence followed as both boys made there way though Hogwarts without being seen and into the medical wing. It was dark all the light has been turned off and the patients sleeping.
"What are you boys doing here at this time of the night" hissed someone behind them, they wiped around to only be met with a young blond girl in her 2nd year
"Merlin Poppy you scared us" laughed Tom causing Poppy to hush him
"Why are you here, are you okay?" She asked concerned
Tom turned fully around so Poppy could see Abi, who gasped and motioned Tom over to one off the free beds.
"You do know that you can't spend all night in here right. Your not even the healer?"
"You do know that you shouldn't be out side of your rooms right?" She sassed back causing Tom to raise his hands in mockingly a smirk on his face.
"Also for your information, Riddle. I'm gonna be the next healer at Hogwarts so I might as well get used to the late nights"
Tom's smirk grew bigger "and your sure of that, why?" Causing Poppy to falter slightly then glare at him and continue bandages the injures on the brunette.
Albus elbowed Tom in the gut causing him to grunt and Poppy to grin "surves you right asshole"
Albus and Tom both let out dramatic gasps and turned to each other.
"did she just-?"
"No she couldnt of-"
"But I think she did-"
"There is no way that my innocent little Pops just-"
"Unless I'm going deaf then she just-"
"Then your going deaf-"
"I'm not, she just-"
"Swore!" They said in sync, grinning at each other.
Poppy rolled her eyes playfully and swatted them away from the bed "right get too your beds you can see her in the moring"
"But-"
"No buts, get going"
They both sighed but followed Poppys orders and left. They joked and messed around the whole walk until it was time to go there separate ways.
"Goodnight Tommy"
"Night Al"
