"I don't know what to wear!!" Makenlee freaks out in her bedroom the next morning as Brit and I help her.

"It's really not that big of a deal. How about this?" I hold up a pair of light wash straight leg jeans, a fitted black shirt, and Seth's sweatshirt.

She huffs and finally agrees. We all pretty much wear the same thing, except Brit wears her own sweatshirt, not a guys.

"What if they don't like us?" Brit freaks as we pass the boarder.

"They'll love you guys!" I reassure them.

"How do you know?"Mak asks.

"Just trust me for once! Will you? I know them well enough to know who they will and won't like!" I say as we pass Quil's house and they shut up.

A few minutes later, I park in front of Emily and Sam's. The guys all rush out of the house, and Seth gives Mak a big hug. I see Embry staring at Brit.

I pull them over to each other.

"Embry, Brittany. Brittany, Embry. Have fun!" I say.

"You made it!" Quil says.

"Wouldn't miss seeing my best friend get imprinted on for the world!" I say, "Is Jake here yet?"

"Nah. Not yet. Pretty sure he's on his way though," he says. I hear Paul make some stupid joke about Brit and Mak.

"Yo! Paul! Ease up on them! Seth and Embry might just rip your head off!" I yell at him. He didn't realize that they're imprints. He quickly apologizes.

"Much better!" I mutter as Jake pulls up in his Rabbit.

"Seems like the fast healing worked!" I say when he gets out of the tiny car.

"Yup, now come here you!" He scoops me up in his arms like I'm a teddy bear, and hugs me like there's no freaking tomorrow!

"I've missed this!" I mumble into his chest.

"Me too," he says before tilting my head up, and kissing me.

Wolf whistles and yelling sounds and I feel myself blush like crazy. I hide my face in my hair and his chest. They all laugh, including Jake.

"Don't laugh, it's not funny!" I push him playfully.

"Actually it is," he says.

"Jake," I groan as his signature smirk finds its way to his lips, "Oh shi-!"

He throws me over his shoulder and scolds, "Language!"

"Jacob! Put me down!" I beat on his back, but it's no use, "Jacob Ephraim Black!! Put me down! Now!"

"Ooo, Jake, she middle named you! Might wanna put her down now!" Paul jokes.

Quil is behind Jake, and the only one who's able to see my face.

I think for a second, before coming up with a plan. I smile and wink at Quil, and he looks down and laughs.

I poke Jake's sides and tickle him. He ends up dropping me on my butt.

"Ouch!" I say as I sit up.

He quickly picks me up bridal style and asks, "Are you okay?"

"Uh, yeah. I planned that," I say laughing.

"Oh, well then," he says before dropping me on my butt again. Earning chuckles from the whole pack, including Brit and Mak.

"Hey!" I say loudly.

"I'm just kidding!" He helps me up.

"You better be, I'll have your ass for that!" I say as most of the pack heads inside.

"It's a very sexy ass isn't it?" He asks, craining his neck to look at his butt.

I roll my eyes and say, "Whatever."

I walk in the front door, but not before I'm greeted by a scowling Leah Clearwater.

"Hey Leah," I say.

"Hey," she grumbles before stalking off.

"Food's ready!" Emily says. Brit and Mak go in for the food.

I grab their arms and pull them back, "I've learned to wait a little. You might lose a finger or two."

"She's not lying!" Paul says with a mouth full of food, and from the middle of the boys. Mak and Brit give him a skeptical look.

I laugh, grab a plate and fill it before sitting down in the open spot next to Jake. Mak and Brit follow my lead slowly.

"Come on, we're not that bad, are we?" Quil asks from the seat next to me, with a mouth full of food.

"You are that bad," Emily says to him, and giving me a look 'Shut him up before he scares the poor girls off.'

I grab his chin, and shut his mouth.

"Chew, swallow, then talk. Not all three at once," I say before taking a bite of my food.

"So are they all like that?" Brit asks when we take a walk afterwards.

"Pretty much," I say.

"They are pretty funny though. You gotta admit Brit," Mak says.

"They are. Especially Embry," she says.

"Why have I always had the feeling that you two were perfect for eachother? Oh, that's right. Because you are!" I throw an arm around her shoulders.

"And how did you know that?" she asks as we get closer to the beach and I can hear the guys trying their hardest to beat each other in the game of football they're most likely playing.

I shrug and say, "I don't know. Just a feeling."

"A feeling like when you forgave Jake?" Makenlee asks.

"I guess. It was kind of a gut feeling," I reply as I can see the beach in the distance.

"I have a proposition. None of us are track stars, but we do it anyways. Wanna race?" Brit asks.

"3...2...1...GO!!!" We all yell and take off running.

My dark hair whips in my face as I try my best not to speed of in front of them, but I do it anyways. On accident!

When I look back, neither of them are there. I skid to a stop, flinging myself into view of the guys. I feel my eyes grow wide in fear. No one can get lost on the Res. At least not in the open, on a marked trail.

"Brittany? Makenlee?" I say repeatedly, getting louder as my repetition grows rapidly faster.

"Alex? What happened?" Jakes voice sounds from behind my worried figure.

Tears that I didn't know we're there slide down my cheeks as I turn and say, "I lost them. I lost Brittany and Makenlee."
