Panic fills her voice. I remembered seeing the gate opened when I left the palace.
"I don't know, maybe a guard had something to do with this," I walk over and sit next to her. I can see her trembling slightly.
"But, how. They gave us three days before they attacked Regalia. It's only been an hour," She sighs and covers her face with her hands.
"I don't know," She lifts her head. I can see tears running down her face. turn her head toward me. I wipe away the tears falling down her face. "It isn't your fault. You didn't know it was coming, don't be so hard on yourself," She leans on me. I wrap my arms around her.
"My Queen," A voice says from the doorway. A female guard stood there, she bowed down, "William, requests yours and the warrior's presence in the armory,"
"Tell him I will be right there,"
"Yes, My Queen," she bowed again and walked away.
I feel Luxa sit up, she wipes away the tears on her cheeks. She looks at me, her beautiful violet eyes full of sorrow. Next thing I know I'm kissing her. I feel the adrenaline coursing through my body, it felt like I just jumped off a cliff. I can feel both of our hearts racing. We are tangled together, she is lying down and I'm on top of her. She pulls away.
"We have to go to the armory," she says flushed. I get off of her, my heart still racing. She sits up and takes her hair out of the intricate bun it was in. It cascades down her shoulders like waves on an ocean. I stand up and help Luxa off the bed, "Let's go,"
The long walk to the armory was silent. We walked side by side holding each other's hand in silence.
We walked down an unfamiliar hallway, and into a room full of weapons, armors, maps, and soldiers.
"My Queen, you have arrived," A deep voice in the back says.

Hey, super sorry I didn't update Thursday, I was hoping on posting it Thursday but, I didn't know what to write. I finally came up with an idea tonight which, I spent 10 minutes fangirling over and 20 trying to learn the Greek Alphabet, very productive.
Oh, also before I forget the 28th-8th I will be camping, I will still be able to write I just won't have the internet to post it. If I do finish writing a chapter and I go home to feed my cats, ducks, and chickens I will publish it. So, have a great day/night. Stay hydrated kids.
