That morning, we made a beeline to Central Park, before it got crowded with people. When we arrived, there was no one by this entrance, not even cars. As I quickly lifted the block, Howard kept an eye out. I pulled it back and we all shuffled down, in a hurry, not to be seen.

We took the path back to Regalia, not wanting to wait for a Regalian guard to show up, whenever that my be. It was while before we got to the palace, and I was exhausted, I flopped on the bed, in the room I was staying. Then fell into the sweet abyss of sleep.

I wake up, and open my eyes. Luxa was laying next to me. She looked so peaceful. She started to stir before opening her beautiful violet eyes. I kissed her forehead and she snuggled up against me. We sat like that for awhile, just enjoying each other's company.

"Your Highness!" Luxa bolted upright. A guard was there at the door.

"The Nameless are at the gates. The Commander wants you there," I sit up.

"Thank you, I will be on my way,"

"Oh, and Warrior, you are wanted there as well," I nod, and the guard ran down the hall, probably to get the other guards on break.

I get out of bed and stretch. Luxa sits up, and combs her fingers through her hair, to get out all the knots, then takes a ribbon and ties it up.

"Lets go," I say.

We walk to the grand wall of Regalia, where the commander and his guards stand. Watching the Nameless at the bottom of the wall.

"Your highness, what should we do?"

"Get the oil ready, and the people in the castle, we might have to fight today,"

"Aye, ma'am," The commander bows, before ordering his guards. Luxa and I stand at the edge, watching the gnawers.

We were sitting there for awhile, nothing happening, until, well it did. They were climbing the wall, which was still smooth, but had alot of cracks in it.

"DO IT NOW," The commander ordered. The guards promptly poured the searing hot oil on the wall, causing gnawers to scream in pain. A few made it, having enough stamina and speed to get up before the oil was poured. I grabbed a sword from the guard, and started swinging. My rager senses flipped on like a light switch, and I could see the gnawers weak points. Even after 6 years of not practicing, I was kinda rusty, but my rager senses helped to guide my sword. I was breathing heavily by the time all 3 gnawers were down, their bodied lying in a pool of blood.

They had somehow managed to open the gate and were flooding the streets.

This meant war.
