I awake, what felt like hours later, to Luxa shaking me awake.

"Gregor, hurry," is all she said before she bolted up. Drowsily I get up, confused her words. I walk out of my room and find Luxa waiting in the hallway, "Hurry, there is hardly any time," she grabs my arm and drags me.

"Hardly any time for what,"

"They're finding the traitor and you need to be there, I wouldn't want you to miss it," she said

We were walking for what seemed like ages when Luxa dropped my hand and looked at me.

"Sit on the bench next to my throne," She turned around and walked into the room. The room was large and had a large throne sitting in front of rows upon rows of benches. The benches were full of Regailans, waiting to know who betrayed their kingdom for some loathsome gnawers. The first 2 rows of benches were full of guards and the few council members. Luxa reached her throne sitting on it gracefully. I spotted the bench and quickly took a seat, not wanting to draw any more attention to myself.

Hours had passed and we were finally down to a council member, the Captin, and The commander. Most of the Regalians had left, out of pure boredom, or because it was getting late.

"Commander, please step forward," The commander, an old man with thinning hair and a stare that would even make the dead uncomfortable. He bows. Luxa asked him a series of questions, I didn't bother to listen to them anymore. The commander just replied no to all of her questions.

"Where were you, the evening of yesterday," she asked. He started to look nervous. His face turned slightly pink.

"Er- I was," He took a long pause, "Polishing my armor and sword," he finally said. I look to Luxa.

"Seems suspicious, doesn't it," I whisper to her. She nods.

"Are you lying to your Queen," she asks her voice loud, clear, and full of authority.

"N-no, your highness," His face was now redder than it had been previously. It was funny to see a man so powerful and fierce-looking, as him getting super flustered over a question.

"Commander, I can strip away your position with just a snap of my fingers. Do you want to lie to me?" Luxa questions.

"No, your highness," he says with his face down.

"Then tell me the truth," She said, "Where were you the evening of yesterday?"
