Ok so normally I don't start with an Authors note at the beginning but this is pretty important! Haha! So I haven't updated in almost 3 weeks and I'm really sorry. I went to California in the end of November and I just recently went to New York. I have been busy with all school finals and crap. Also, I have found myself a person I'm interested in and let's just say that keeps me busy because he feels the same. Insert some really girly laugh because that's how I feel almost all the time ahaha. So I'm really sorry for being so busy. Anyway, today is CHRISTMAS!! Merry late Christmas! Sorry my writing is shit right now but it's really late and I just needed to write the authors note at least haha. Anyway, thank you if you have been voting and commenting because it's really encouraging. I swear, whenever I log on and check the comments and there IS comments I get excited because SOMEONE actually likes my work enough to WRITE A COMMENT. Also, I like to grow so PLEASE correct me. And I should probably bold the things in caps inside of caps but really I'm just tired and lazy right now. I won't write a shitty chapter though haha. I will write tomorrow <3 Love you all. Kappa ;3
New update: Damn I have been so busy I haven't been able to write since Christmas!!! Will write tonight.

The Mistake
Mars
It was New Years. James moved into a house with Aleks, Em, and Domi. Domi and I have gotten on a stable relationship. It's really truly hard to be nice to her, because it's just so complicated. Amy was working her ass off, so our rent was doing fine. She didn't ever have to do that. I was bursting with music running in my veins on YouTube. I talked with Kevin everyday. I still didn't truly make anything from YouTube, but it was so amazing.
"Mars! It's almost New Years! 2014 here we come, baby!" Eddie joked from downstairs of Aleks house. I jump up from Em's bed where I was sitting. I ran downstairs, and they were counting down.
"10,9,8,7,6,5! 4! 3! 2! 1!" They chant. I open a bottle of champagne and quickly pour one glass for all my friends. I send a quick selfie to Kevin.

I smiled and sent. It was only 11 in Seattle, but it was okay. He would understand.
Aleks tried to kiss Domi after the champagne, but she groaned and ran upstairs. We heard gagging, but not even Em moved from the party. Aleks staggered over to the bar stool, and sat on my lap.
"Hi Aleks." I smile.
"2014, yeah?" He grinned.
"I guess." I slightly smirk.
"What?"
"How's Domi?" I scrunch up my face as we hear more gags.
"Whatever. She said she would be wrecked."
"Oh."
"Why are you so damn tense?" He slipped his hand on my knee. I adjusted and scooted a bit back.
"Aleks."
"Marie."
"Don't." I flicked his hand off.
He groaned.
"Marie, it's New Year."
"Aleks!" My voice boomed in the loud room.
"We can make this our year." He whispered in my ear.
"Aleksandr, you are drunk. I am not wasting my innocence on a taken drunk man."
"Whatever! She's throwing her guts up! I can bet money Kevin is with another girl!"
I gasped.
"Aleks, no. He's not with another girl!"
"Are you stupid Marie?! He's in a whole other timezone from you!"
"He's not with another girl!" I screamed. He sat there, with a surprised facial expression as if a child just ate some Brussel Sprouts.
"Marie. I'm sorry. He's not with another girl."
"Cut the bullshit, Aleks! You ruined me!"
"Mars!" He shouted.
"What, asshole?" My voice cracked.
"I'm so sorry. So fucking sorry. I've ruined this whole thing, haven't I? God fucking damn it. I did. I fucked it up. I'm loosing my mind."
"Screw you, Aleks! You did ruin this whole thing, and to think I was about to be nice!"
"What?" He was surprised.
"Oh, you fucking asshole. Fuck off." I grabbed my phone and headed upstairs into Em's room again.

I didn't talk to Aleks again that night. It was almost February, yet I still haven't talked to Aleks. He's texted me twice saying hey that week, but never after. It's like he didn't care.
He doesn't care.
He is with Dominika. I am with Kevin.
I don't care.
It's obvious.
