Chapter 23

Visiting

Marie

I was in Seattle, visiting my boyfriend for about four months. It was December and it was almost freezing in Seattle. It was a couple days until my birthday. I had on a long sweater, beanie, leggings and combat boots. I breathed out and smiled at the fog. I walked farther out of the airport, dragging my suitcase with me. I tug my phone out of my pocket and text Aleks first.

Landed ;)

Aleks;) :Have fun

Miss ya, my bestie!

Aleks;) : Miss you too. Tell Kevin I said hey.

Alright!

I dial Kevin.

"Hey babe." He fumbles around.

"Hi! I landed."

"Okay! One second, I am getting dressed m'lady!"

"God damn it, Kevin. I miss your butt! Come pick my ass up!"

"I'm coming!" He screams and I smile.

I feel a buzz on my phone and see its Aleks.

"How fast could you get here?"

"Five minutes."

"Okay! See you here!"

"See you Mars!"

I hang up and check my messages.

Aleks;) :I want you to come back

I just left a couple hours ago!

But I miss you.

Ok lol. I love you Aleks you silly boy.

Aleks;) :Gotta go. Bye. Have fun with Kev

Aleks;) :Use a condom.

YOU ASSHOLE! We're not gonna do it.

I laugh. I text mom that I landed, along with James. I check Instagram and I look up and see Kevin. I spring up and sprint to him. We quickly begin to kiss.

"I missed you." I pull away.

He is wearing a suit and fedora.

"I love you so much. A suit? For me? Really?"

"Only you." He smiles and we get into his car and drive to his small apartment. I greet his cat with a kiss on the forehead as he rubs around my leg.

"Baby missed me!" I picked the cat up and hugged it.

"I missed you way more then my cat did." Kevin hugs me from behind.

"I missed you too. I missed your eyes, I missed your kisses, I missed your love, Kevin I just missed you." I say as I set down the cat and kiss him. I can tell he wants to take it all the way, but the problem is I don't. I don't want to go all the way. I am terrified of getting pregnant. I want to get pregnant but not now! I am eighteen, young and free. A child is in my mind but not for a couple years.
His hand straggles down my back and I push it off.
"Babe, I'm not ready for this."
"Okay." He lets go and I head for his bedroom. I lay on the comfortable bed and he jumps on too.
"Well, now what?" I ask as I hug him.
"Let's go do something!"
I nod and stand up. I grab my phone and check my messages.
Aleks ;) : It's boring here. Miss you.

Damn you, Aleks.

Aleks ;) : But it is boring.

Go hang out with your girlfriend.

Aleks ;) : Are you joking me? She's back in Massachusetts.

I fly back in a couple days.

Aleks ;) : Fine.

I did not know why he was so bored without me. I put on my shoes again and we headed out to his car.
"I missed you so much."
"I missed you more Kev."
"I love you." He hadn't started the car yet. He leaned over and kissed me.
"Kevin." I pull back. "Let's go."
He smiles and starts the car. We drive to the space needle.

"Kevin, are you sure? I'm fucking terrified of needles!"
"It's barely a needle baby!"
"Fine." We bought tickets and started to walk on the ramp. The elevator we step into begins and the lady starts to begin random shitty facts that make me terrified.
"Relax babe." Kevin kissed my head. I nodded and pulled out my phone. We took a selfie. I get on Instagram and post it. I watch as the likes pour in.
"Dominikabaczek likes your photo."
"What the hell." I murmur. Domi and I have never talked. She has many pictures of her stupid hair, and in jealousy I sort of want purple hair.
"What's wrong?" Kevin walks around.
"Aleks girlfriend liked my photo."
"Oh well."
"Yeah but it's weird."
"Why?"
"Because, you know."
"Do you still like him?"
"What? No way." I said as sincere as I could but I felt like I was lying. It was sincere but it felt like my heart started to beat twice as fast.
"I love you Kevin." I leaned in and kissed him.
And he didn't kiss back.
A/N
Okay, so random question. I like to skip smut, as in, I don't like writing smut. I'm okay writing it but I wanted to know if I should write it. If I skip it, I leave a little prompt like
Bob pushed her into the wall. Passionately, he kissed her. He moved his mouth to her neck. Jill moaned slightly. He tugged at her shirt.
