Thx for 5k reads, u guys r pretty cool ☺

We snuck out of the school without anyone noticing. The journey through Hogwarts dark corridors wasn't enjoyable. We had wandered through the castle during dark countless times, but it was more crowded this time, with teachers, prefects and ghosts patrolling the halls in pairs, looking out for any unusual activity.

Unfortunately, the invisibility cloak didn't stop any noise we made, and there were very tense moment's, like when Ron stubbed his toe only yards from where Snape was standing. Luckily he let out a big greasy sneeze at the same time Ron swore. A huge wave of relief came over us once we made it out if the castle.

We hurried towards the lighted windows of Hagrid's house, and pulled off the cloak when we were standing right outside the door. We knocked on the door and Hagrid flung it open. We found ourselves face to face with him aiming a crossbow at our faces.

"Oh... What're you three doin' down here?" He asked as he lowered his weapon.

"What's that for?!" I asked as we stepped inside. "Nuthin... I've bin expectin'... nuthin, doesn' matter... sit down... I'll fetch ya some tea." He said sounding more and more unhinged with every word he spoke.

He hardly seemed to know what he was doing with the tea. He nearly extinguished the fire, spilling water on it from the kettle on it and then smashing the teapot with a nervous jerk of his gigantic hand.

"Did you um... hear about Hermione?" I asked with a slight break in my voice.

"Oh I heard, all righ'," he replied while constantly glancing out the window and nervously humming. He slammed slabs of fruitcake onto a plate, when there was a loud knock on the door.

We all exchanged panicked looks before Harry threw the invisibility cloak over the me, him and Ron.

"Good evening, Hagrid."

It was Dumbledore. He looked dead serious and was followed by a second, very odd looking and short man who I soon recognised to be the minister of magic.

When I realised it was him I couldn't help but let of a gasp, earning me a whack from both Ron and Harry.

"What was that!?" He asked quickly.

"Oh um, just the wind." Hagrid replied with extreme awkwardness. The Minister didn't press on anymore, even though it was quite clear that there was virtually no wind at all.

"What's Cornelius Fudge doing here?" Ron asked in shock.

"Who is Cornelius Fugde?" Harry said. "My dad's boss." Ron answered.

"You can tell he has had his fair share of fudges." I said caising bothe me and Ron to snicker. Harry elbowed me to shut us up

Hagrid suddenly went very pale and dropped onto one of his chairs whilst looking between Dumbledore and Fudge.

"Bad business, Hagrid, very bad business." Fudge said in a rather clipped tone. "Had to come, four attacks on muggle borns, things've gone far enough, the Ministry has got to act."

"I never." Said Hagrid looking imploringly at Dumbledore. "Professor Dumbledore, sir, you know I never." Hagrid pleaded filling my heart with sadness.

"I want it understood, Cornelius, that Hagrid has my full confidence." Dumbledore said frowning at Fudge.

"Unfortunately, Albus, Hagrid's record is against him. The Ministry has to do something, the school govenors have been in touch." Fudge replied.

"Cornelius, I assure you that taking Hagrid away will not change a thing." Dumbledore replied with a passion in his eye's I haven't seen before.

"Look at it from my point of view, I'm under alot of pressure. Got to been seen doing something. If it turns out that Hagrid is in fact innocent, he will be back with a full apology from the Ministry, but I have to take him, its my duty."

"Take me? Take me where?" Hagrid asked with a trembling lip

"For a short strech only, not a punishment, Hagrid, more of a precaution." Fudge said.

"Not Azkaban?" Croaked Hagrid.

Before Fudge could reply, there was another loud knock from the door. Dumbledore opened it and this time it was Harry's turn for an elbow to the ribs, as he let out an audible gasp.

Mr Lucius Malfoy strode into Hagrids hut.

"Already here Fudge." He said approvingly. "Good, good..."

"What're you doin' here?" Said Hagrid with pure hatred in his voice, "get outta my house!"

"Please believe me, I take no pleasure from being in this... d'you call this a house?" Said Lucius as he looked around and inspected Hagrids hut. "I simply called because I heard the Headmaster was here."

"And what do you want with me, Lucius?" Asked Dumbledore in a polite voice.

"Dreadful thing, Dubledore." Lucius said nonchalantly, taking out a long roll of parchment. "But the govenors fell that it's time you step aside, this is an order of suspension, you'll find all twelve signature on there."

"Oh, now, see here Lucius, the last thing we want now is Dumbledore suspended." Fudge said spunding alarmed.

"I'm sorry to tell you Cornelius, but you don't have a say in the matter, this lies in the hands of the governors, who, as you can clearly see, have unanimously approved of Dumbledore stepping down." Lucius replied with a cunning smirk.

"Now look, Lucius, if Dumbledore can't stop these attacks, I mean to say, who can?" Fudge said, his upper lip now sweating.

"That remains to be seen," said Lucius. "But twelve of us have voted."

All of a sudden Hagrid jumped to his feet, his shaggy black hair grazing the ceiling.

"Yeh can' take Dumbledore!" Causing Fang the boarhound to whimper and cower away. "Take him away, an' the muggle-borns won' stan' a chance!"

"Calm yourself Hagrid, if the governors request my removal, Lucius, of course I shall step aside." Dumbledore said. "However, you will find that I will have only truly left this school when none here are loyal to me."

"Holy shit, I think he just looked at us." I whispered.

"Shhhh."

"Yes yes yes, very admirable sentiments." Lucius said rather sarcastically. Malfoy strode out of the hut with Dumbledorw following behind, leaving Fudge and Hagrid in complete shock.

"Well then... let's go Hagrid." Fudge said once he remembered why he was there in the first place.

"Yep, let me jus' say a few words, if anybody was lookin' to find some stuff, all they would 'ave to do is follow the spiders... yep... that's it." He said uncomfortably while Fudge stood there once again in a state of shock, before leaving.

Once the hut door was shut, I threw the invisibility cloak off of us.

"Follow the spiders?" I said to them before taking a long pause. "What the fuck is he on about?"
