*kevin is straight here. sorry*

edit 2022: so, there have been a lot of comments about this lately, and i honestly don't know what i was thinking when i wrote this regarding kevin's sexuality. i was knew to my personal changes and sexual preferences, so i didn't do enough research (stupid, i know). anyway, i remember that i wanted to include a chapter for kevin here because i liked his character. so i did and in the most stupid way possible. i should have been more considerate and aware of topics regarding sexualities, and for that, i apologize.

i was unknowledgeable about sexualities and stupid so, i am terribly sorry for this mistake. i have nothing to do with this book anymore, so i'll leave everything be (other than this note). however, i guess we can just assume kevin is still attracted to women in some way. i will not specify a gender nor change anything in this chapter and the next. thank you, and i'm truly sorry for this mistake.

{PART 1}

Y/n's POV

"Could you do it?" FP asks me as he gazes at me with a look that is supposed to intimidate me but I remained calm.

"Yes, I can, boss." You salute at him playfully and turned around leaving through the doors of the Whyte Wyrm as I hear FP's loud chuckles echo the bar.

I ran my hand through my hair and puffed out a breath. I groaned and shoved my clenched fists in my pockets.

"Who placed a stick up your ass, Rebel?" A voice spoke up from behind me and I smirked.

I turned around and see the short girl with pink highlights leaning against her motorcycle, "Hey, Toni. It's just FP."

She uncrossed her arms and pushed off her bike,"Oh no, what did he do now?"

I groaned loudly and pinched the bridge of my nose with a hand resting at my hip, "FP told me to do some stuff for this other guy which is to befriend the Keller boy and try to find how many clues they have about the death of Jason."

"I'm sorry. Do you want me to talk to him for you? I know how Jason is important to you and it's the least I can do for you." Toni told me and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"It's fine, Toni, really. I just miss him, you know?" I feel my eyes start to tear up thinking of my dead best friend.

"Hey, hey. Don't cry, be happy that he is in a better place now, alright Rebel?" She hugged me which was pretty funny since she's really short but I smiled nonetheless.

I wrapped my arms around her small body and leaned down with my face resting on her shoulder. We stood there in each other's arms for minutes which felt like seconds and pulled away.

Toni wiped the tears that ran down my cheekbones and cupped my face, "How about this. Let's go to the drive-in tonight." She says to me and I look at her confused since she doesn't like the drive-in that much, "I heard they are screening 'Rebel Without A Cause' and I heard that it is your favorite movie. So, what do you say?"

A smile instantly made my face and I let out a small laugh and nodded my head excitedly, "Of course. How about an afternoon ride around town before we head to the movie?"
